We were visiting family in Florida and they took us out to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse to celebrate wedding anniversaries. It was fairly busy but we were seated quickly and gave our drink orders. The drinks came while we were still perusing the menu. I ordered a 9oz sirloin medium well, french onion soup and a strawberry pecan salad with vinaigrette dressing a cherry limeade. My wife ordered bbq shrimp, rice, baked sweet potato. My steak was hot and delicious except for a little bit too much pepper in a few bites which was not a real issue. The salad was colorful and tasty. The dressing did not overwhelm the salad but it was just what I wanted in a dressing. The french onion soup was great, very tasty with several textures. Our waitress was very attentive to us. Drinks were refilled and empty plates were cleared in a timely fashion. We had no room for dessert.

We had a great time last night at Longhorn. My son wanted to go there for his birthday as he craves the bread and steak from there. Our waitress, Katie was awesome and took great care of us. The steaks are always very consistently cooked to perfection. We look forward to going back soon.

We snuck in for a late dinner the other night. We were deciding between here and another local steak joint. But Hey, we always get a great consistent steak at Longhorn. We were visiting from Tampa area had a great server. (Not sure about his name. Though I will try to edit this later). We both had steaks. We had the shrimp appetizer, which is so good. I do not get the jalapenos. That's a little too spicy for me. We had a nice big potato asparagus sautéed mushrooms and, of course salads.
