Food is good and inexpensive, can't beat the lunch special and the stromboli slaps. Wait staff was very nice and personable. Also the creamy Italian dressing is out of this world, I look forward to the salad bar reopening.
This place had good service, good food at fair prices, and a decent setting. Overall the homemade lasagna was very good and definitely freshly made. The chicken and brocolli alfredo was also good and utilized a lighter Alfredo sauce. The entrees also came with one trip to the salad bar and garlic bread basket which was decent but definitely not your mom's garlic bread. In the end, I would say it's a a good Italian restaurant and definitely a good place to take friends and family. If you are a connoisseur, boujee, or want a more romantic spot, I would recommend Dove III downtown.
Small little family owned Italian restaurant. Everything you'd expect is to be small family owned italian restaurant.
The servers were very pleasant as well the service was great. Two of the soups on the menu weren't available and unfortunately both were my Husband's choice. We were given an alternative without any upcharge, to our satisfaction. The food was very salty though. Not sure if it was just this time. Will be back again.
Food was great, drinks and service was lackluster.
Jessica was our server tonight and she was AMAZING! Not only did she have an awesome personality but she was also extremely attentive and quick. Although she was busy with her other tables, she still took the time so interact qith my 3 year old for a few minutes, which made her extremely happy.
Aside from the service, the food was great! The Eggplant parm was probably the best I've had at a restaurant!!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend if you're looking for great family friendly Italian food!
This is not your charming, cozy Italian trattoria. Dated, oversized diner is a better description of the ambiance. If you can overlook this, which we did, you will enjoy authentic, delicious Italian cuisine. The lunch menu is loaded with great values. Practically every pasta dish imaginable is $8.95, which includes 2 sides (one of which is a salad bar) and garlic bread. The meatballs, sauce, and authentic creamy Italian dressing were real standouts and the service was first-rate! You may want to steer clear of the house wine-by-the glass for $9. The prices for wine are not listed on the menu, but certainly show up on your check. A bit deceiving. Next time, we will enjoy our wonderful meal with ice-water with lemon.
I’ve lived within a mile of this place for over three years. For some unknown reason I had never been here until recently with some friends. Wow. Great service, friendly and their pizza is excellent. I highly recommend this local Italian eatery. A friend got the lasagna and it looked fantastic as well. It disappeared quickly so it must be good as well.
Excellent food, fair prices
My husband and I had a wonderful late lunch at this little gem. We started with lentil soup, which is wonderful and then I had their Chicken Marsala and my husband the Chicken Florentine. The portions are huge and they were both absolutely delicious.
Rosalinda waited on us and she superb. We really enjoyed this and will come back when we visit Melbourne again.
