Little Italy offers excellent food that is high in quality and great in value. In terms of authenticity, it's as close to Italy as one can get while living in Memphis. As much as I like the food, Little Italy has never been a place to dine in. I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe the restaurant has more of a Sbarro-like feel to it. It's not a place that you can hang out in, but more like a store where you just come and go. Fortunately, that's not a bad thing when it serves great food and excellent (but not perfect) servicefrom the kitchen. Being that I'm a fair guy, I usually refrain from getting out take-out for the blog unless that's the only way to get food from a particular restaurant (example: Roxie's Grocery). However, given the circumstances surrounding the global coronavirus pandemic, I will have to adapt both as a blogger and in life in general. So for this phase of the blog, I will try to focus on restaurants that either do a lot of take-out or aren't (in my opinion) "dine-in friendly" as far as atmosphere goes. With that in mind, I knew the first place I had to talk about is one of my favorite take-out joints, Little Italy.
Very good NY style pizza! I've been wanting to try Little Italy for quite a while now, finally I went to pick up a couple of slices for lunch. Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to try everything...I love this pizzeria now!
I LOVE Little Italy! I grab a couple slices of their pizza for lunch anytime I can. I would highly recommend this small local pizza joint. They are extremely quick getting lunch out as the food is pre-prepared in order to keep up with the rush. Although it's a small place and you clean off your own table when finished, I'm sure it helps keep costs down, which makes the food very affordable ($7.40 for two huge slices of pizza and a coke). I would go as far as suggesting that Little Italy has the best pizza in all the Memphis area!
Food was great, really tasty and hot pizza, staff was also really friendly. It was a bit messy (I think they had just gotten done with a huge rush), and who wants to.clean their own table. A minor thing to me though - super tasty!
i just ate the meatball sub an it made all my friday evening dreams come true. it was perfectly toasted, and the ratio of sauce : cheese : meatball was *muah* perfection. thank you little italy pizza company. you make me proud to support non-chain businesses like you
Really really good chicken Alfredo. I also really like the stromboi. The parking situation is not the greatest but they do deliver.
Pizza was closest to NY Pizza I have had in Memphis. Crust is delicious and it has that classic greasy drip and sauce to dip crust in!!! It's Christmas Day and I'm hoping they are open so I can get more today!!!
Restaurant location convenient. The pizza and meatball sub were delicious. The owner and staff very helpful and friendly. As close to New York style pizza as you can get without going there.
Been comin here for a while and I've got to say I've yet to not enjoy my meal. The food is awesome, service is real friendly. Their NY style pizza is unparalleled in Memphis. But what I love most here is the subs! They're cheap and delicious. The owner is almost always here and he's super friendly. Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots in Memphis! Oh and they do a student discount, which is always wonderful👍
Haven't been here in years. Stopped by for a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was HUGE and delicious. Perfect crispy flaky crust. Just the right amount of red sauce and toppings. As close to authentic NY pizza as you can get in Memphis. I will definitely be back!!
The perfect slice of pizza every time, and the ONLY place I go to for my favorite...Fresh mozzarella(Margherita). The friendliest staff, especially for a pizza place.
The new dining space is nice, and private yet spacious enough for a large group. To go and delivery are tried and true.
Beef Stromboli is next on my list here. And don’t forget the pepperoni pinwheels.
One of the better pizzas in Memphis. We tried the Sicilian pizza with extra cheese and onions and we were not disappointed. The pizza sauce is fresh and home made, the pizza base was crispy, just like Sicilian pizza should be ans so much mozzarella cheese. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This is definitely home made food. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
The pizza was great. Excellent after a long day of driving. They were so nice. When they realized we were from out of town they gave us the cannolis.

I have been driving by this place for a long time and finally decided to give it a try. Really small in side, just 3 tables plus a little bar along the front window. The menu looks amazing, I like that I can order pizza by the slice if I want and it was really good. Definitely want to come back and try some of their pasta next time 😁
As a pizza lover, I am extremely picky, however, this place is amazing. I am impressed with their food. I am glad I found a great pizza place in Memphis. Besides their great pizza, I recommend their “Toasted ravioli”.
Solid food with great prices and speedy delivery. My baked ziti portion was very generous, and our food was delivered much quicker than anticipated! Bread was a tiny bit bland, but still good. 4.5 stars.
Truly the MOST AWESOME pizza I have ever had the pleasure of eating -- and pizza is my favorite food. From NYC to California and everywhere in between, this was by far the best tasting pizza/ bread/sauce . It's a tiny place shoved into a strip mall, but worth the effort ! Saddened I live way too far to return, but making sure I share the chance to enjoy a truly good pizza experience with others.....
My favorite pizza joint in Memphis by far. The pizza is always fresh and the cannoli are done exactly how they should be. Not that many places know how make cannolis. This place makes them fresh only add the filling when you order them.
Fan-tactic, in one word! Loved the Calzone and Garlic knots, but ordered the $8.76 Sausage Stromboli with extra topping of $1.55 cheese, $1.55 each $1.55 Sausage and $1.55🍍 Pineapple, and $3.50 French Fries. SubTotal $17.50, Dales Tax $1.77 Grand Total $19.21 😯 So you see, they got new prices.
Very friendly staff! Excellent pizza that tasted awesome — only issue and it is a small one - ordered the meat lovers style pizza and it was for all intent and purpose — a pepperoni pizza with a little bit of Italian sausage on it. It really was good though, just weak on the meat toppings.
