Great little place to eat.. the curry is one of my favorites.. The Chai Tea is delicious.. I recommend trying if you like spicy foods. The service was fantastic.. they know me by name!
Curry dishes were excellent. I ordered "off menu dish" (Drunken Noodles) which wasn't as good. The dish had too much oil in it (had that oil after taste for 1/2 hour afterwards).
A pleasant surprise. Noticed the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food and service were very good. I live in Lakeland and am glad to have a great restaurant open here!

Just can't beat it. Emerald Thai has been my favorite restaraunt for years...I moved from mt moriah to lakeland 3 years ago and had not had any Thai anywhere else since the move. When they moved to Arlington and opened it was as if time stood still. I have been to their new Place 5 times in the past 5 weeks and am not disappointed ! They service is good but not fast but we think it is because they take the time to make everything instead of pre-made dinners. We enjoy the best fresh spring rolls ever made while we wait for the best TumYum Soup and the Best Phad Thai I have ever had.
It just may be my taste but several ( 5) other Thai rest. Are just not as good. They were not bad but just not as good. I hope you enjoy you time here cause I will always be going back. This is just the second time I have written in urbanspoon only because this place deserves it.
Small and no frills. Amazing food. Best soup I've ever had. Flavorful spicy curry that doesn't over power. Ill be back.
The most awesome massaman curry ever! Staff is extremely friendly. Also, the chicken wings are the bomb with curry marinade...must try both!
I only discovered this place earlier this year and the food is awesome. Some of the best Thai food I have had. The location on Mt Moriah is closing August 17th 2013 and will be reopening at their new location sometime in October on stage rd (hwy64) near I-40.
The only legitimate Thai option in Memphis. If you have a craving for good Thai food, Emerald is the only place around that can get the job done. All of the curries are fantastic and the portions are fairly generous. Unfortunately, it's location is less-than-desirable and the hours are limited depending on the day of the week, but in terms of what you get for what you pay, there is simply no competition for better Thai.
Good Thai food in the Lakeland area. The food came a little late, but the wait was worth it. Tom yum soup and chicken satay was tasty. Pad Thai was average. I will come back again when I crave Thai food.
Food was pretty good here, especially their sampler platter, but we did not get the chance to dine in because of the amount of people inside at the time (which is never a bad thing for a business to be busy). I love the location and the staff working there were very friendly.
I think if you prefer your food to pack a punch with flavors, you may need to salt some of their food yourself, but everything else was good.

Quaint mom and pop Thai restaurant. What the place lacks in atmosphere, the food makes up for. There was a wide variety menu items. My companions and I had Pad Thai. Cream Cheese Wontons. Curry Fried Rice w/Chicken and Stir Fried Spicy Seafood Combo. This was my first time trying Thai so I played it safe. However, it was so good I will be more adventurous next time. And there will be a next time.
I remember first time I been here was 5 year ago before I moved to Memphis. Their food was so good that they became one of the reasons that I want to move here. They are totally the best Thai restaurant in the city. Be aware when you order spicy, because it’s real Thai Spicy.
Greeted by a nice woman when I entered. Placed my order without any issues. Food came pretty quickly. Everything was hot. Didn't really care for the Pad Thai. The satay was ok. Not sure if I'll be back.
Came here Saturday (Feb 22) for lunch with a friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I ordered the Thai Spring Rolls and Tom Yum soup with Shrimp as an appetizer. The soup was greatly spiced and the spring rolls were good. For my meal I ordered the Pad King with Shrimp (steamed rice included) and it was delicious! The ginger was a hit but not overpowering and the Thai spices were amazing. I would definitely order this again. My friend order the same appetizers as I did except she had the vegetarian version of the soup and spring rolls. For her meal she ordered the Thai Salad with no onions. She didn’t like the salad and would not order it again. The customer service was ok.. not good or bad. Overall, I enjoyed my first experience here and will return to try other dishes.

Two words!! GOOD FOOD! Surprisingly the restaurant was not crowded when we visited Friday evening. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup and Shrimp Fried Rice. This restaurant has the best Tom Yum Soup I have tasted in this city. The Shrimp Fried Rice had a little “kick” to it. My husband ordered Pad Kaprao (Beef). He enjoys spicy food and this dish delivered. Everything was delicious. The service was quick. We will return!
Been here multiple times and every time it hits. 10/10. I recommend this place to all my family and friends. The food is so tasty!
Best Tom Yum and Tom Kai soup in the city. Awesome spring rolls. Wonderful chicken zucchini dish. Fried chicken wings are the best in town.
