The Cottage Hotel. What can be said about this place? There simply aren’t words to describe its magnificence. From the bottom to the top, it’s just an outstanding organization. Expect to walk in, and to feel like it’s your average dive, but it’s not your average dive. It’s the entire pool. From its top notch customer service, to its very reasonably priced and above average cocktails, to its phenomenal, and I do mean phenomenal, food (try the prime rib sandwich. Holy smokes). It is a place that goes above and beyond, and because of that, The Cottage Hotel, in Mendon, will always have a very special place in my heart. Do yourself a favor and stop on by. There is no way you will regret it. A special thanks to The Cottage Hotel. From the bottom of my heart, to the top shelf where you place your values that have continued to exceed my expectations time and time again, I thank you.

This has become our "go-to" place for dinner, happy hour drinks, or just when we feel like some delicious wings and beers. After moving to the area a few years ago, we were so happy to find a place that serves great food just down the road from where we live. You might miss it as you are driving by the four corners of Mendon, but I feel like that is part of this place's charm. It's no surprise that this place is almost always busy. The highlights of the menu, in my opinion, are their ribs, wings (ask for grilled wings, well done and extra saucy--you won't be sorry!), their tuna melt, and the "Slayer". I have tried to recreate their tuna melt before at home, but it's just not the same. We've also met some great people here--from the very accommodating staff to fellow patrons. They truly make it a welcoming atmosphere.

The best farm to table place around! Not only is the food incredible! But they offer live music with some of the best local artists almost daily. It is truely one of Mendon NY best kept secrets!
