Nice cavernous place and oddly quiet for the size. Our server was nice but not very good. S seemed confused and got many things wrong. Was extremely slow w checks both bringing them to us a getting them back. My salmon and entire entre was barely warm but with the mushroom shrimp sauce was quite tasty. Shrimp on the barbie was a good portion. The burgers were good. No one had complaints about the food. Service though not good at all.
Pros:
Came in on a Saturday evening with a few friends, and saw we were seated next to a 10-top… was concerned we would be ignored for the bigger tip, but our server Jacob was exceptional the whole night and made us feel taken care of despite this. I have food allergies and he was amazingly patient with all of my questions, and I could tell he was helping tables with refills and whatnot that other servers were slacking on. Really excellent, wish I could take him to all the restaurants I eat at.
Food was decent for the price, my steak was a little overcooked but that’s pretty par for the course at outback in my experience.
Onto the cons:
Kitchen was very slow, and we waited a solid 30 minutes past when the hostess said we would be seated by. I know Saturday nights are busy but I’d prefer to just know if it’s going to take an hour for a table so I can make plans accordingly.
They were extremely crowded and busy, but the staff made sure that everyone felt seen and had a great experience. The attention to detail from staff members Ashley and Grace was very much appreciated! We've never had customer service like this when a place is as busy as they were.
