The minute I opened my car door in the parking lot the yummy smells, coming from the grill, had my mouth watering. The menu looked delicious but I had my mind already set on the lobster roll and lobster bisque. They did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and creamy. The bisque, had a nice flavor, though I could have used a pinch of salt. It would have also been nice to have some larger pieces of lobster in there. The lobster roll was delicious and the pieces of lobster meat were huge. I went for the medium, which was 6 ounces of the lobster salad. I would definitely say to make sure you have a fork as there is enough lobster on there that you really want to take some off to make the sandwich a little easier to eat and not as messy as it could be. Our group also had the Chicken #9, the Steak #9, Buffalo Chicken wrap and a Lobster Salad, all of which look and smelled delicious and were rated by the eaters as very good. If you are on the Middletown/Newport, RI area you should give D'Angelo's a try.
John and Cara were great! We placed a large order last minute for 30 sandwiches and they rocked it! They labeled each sandwich, took their time, and had great customer service. They went above & beyond! Thank you so much!
Middletown D’Angelo is my go to for take out. Love the menu which includes something for everyone and the great service from a really great staff. Thanks John for years of terrific service and thanks to everyone in Middletown who keep me coming back. You were awesome during the pandemic and I will keep coming there in thanks and for your continued super customer service and delicious menu!!! This store get my highest rating!
Lititia at this location is such a sweet and big energy , she greets you with such soul as soon as you enter the establishment. Everyone here is working very hard. My food was fresh and hot, made fairly quickly despite it being a relatively busy lunch hour. I didn’t have to wait too long. Leave a healthy tip if you can, they deserve it. Sweet service here , thank you to this team at the Middletown location✨🤘🏽
We ordered from here via UberEats and it was very tasty. We got 2 cheesesteak sandwiches and a BLT. Not one crumb was wasted. Very good proportion of bread to meat. They know how to make a sandwich here.
D'Angelo Middletown has the best grilled sandwiches my favorite is steak cheese mushrooms an extra mayo! As soon as I walk in with my family we are always greeted by such a happy spirited employee named Lititia! She always makes or visit enjoyable! Making sure we have the best service she never disappoints us! Definitely give five stars at this location!
This Middletown location is hands down the best dangelos I've ever been to and the only sandwich shop in this area with an amazing vegetarian option! (Veggie pocket, highly recommend) not only is the food amazing but the staff has fantastic energy. The manager Lititia is the best! always so nice and goes out of her way to be sure everyone has a great experience.
I got the lobster roll. It was yummy. I liked the toasted bun, crunchy lettuce, meaty lobster, and the savory mayonnaise. It was a good choice for lunch.
