We went as a party of four with dinner reservations last night and were seated right away. The staff was extremely attentive. The food was delicious as we shared the fried calamari, mozzarella fritta, caesar salad. We also had the veal parmesan, chicken parmesan, fettuccini alfredo and a special of braised beef cavatelli in a red sauce. The portions are huge and had to get to go boxes. We also had a nice reasonably priced bottle of wine. Definitely going back!

Our waitress Kali (usually does lunch, new at dinner) was fabulous, fun and very attentive. Her recommendations for wine were right on the money. The bread was crusty and the olive oil dip was flavorful. The calamari was fantastic lightly battered and the sauce was perfect just a little spice. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood risotto and the veal saltimbocca. Definitely a hidden gem! We will surely be back!
Tried last night. I got pan seared scallops which come in this amazing lemony sauce with pancetta. Absolutely delicious. It came with a starch (I chose spaghetti) and veggie (chose broccoli). The broccoli was great, in a buttery, garlicy sauce.
Husband got chicken parmesan. He said it was very good.
The only downside was that my food wasn't hot, almost room temp. I think my food was done before my husband's and it sat for a while.
The restaurant is really new and I'm excited to try it again. Im sure any kinks will be quickly worked out.
Best Italian in the area, I have yet to be disappointed. I have had the veal piccatta (pictured), cacio e pepe, Italian pork chop, and several appetizers. Everything is fresh and handmade, wine list is decent and they are slowly rolling in cocktails. The ambiance is low key, and perfect for date night or going out with friends. My only drawback is that only 1 seafood dish is mollusk-free (allergy).
Excellent authentic italian food in a family setting. Reasonable prices and great staff.
Fresh fresh fresh fresh fresh.... Did I mention fresh? This place is a hidden gem and is a must go to for Italian food. They have good pasta bowls and wine deals on Tuesdays. They make the pasta fresh there and the menu is very large. Craving there eggplant pram as I'm writing this. Its so hard to try new things because I'm so addicted to a few main meals. They haven't really been open during the pandemic so I would call before driving over here.
Enjoyed the food and service. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked. The meal portions were great. I didn't even think of reaching for salt or pepper because the food came from the kitchen flavorful. I had the veal parmigiana and my wife enjoyed the lasagna. Both of our cocktails were prepared well and quickly.
Great food! My meal was wonderfully flavorful and well seasoned. The bread was delicious and the drinks were good as well. Unfortunately service was very VERY slow. It took about an hour from when we ordered to get our meals, and two of us got pasta dishes (aka no meat) and the other had a salad so we are not sure what took so long (it was not crowded). Fortunately, once we had our meals, the flavors made up for the wait!
Magnificant food! Wonderful decor. Warm and inviting dining areas. Friendly and professional staff. I had an exceptional experience from drinks to appetizers, to main course, to dessert, and topped it off with robust coffee. I will be returning with more friends to share this fantastic Italian gem!
Delicious homemade pasta and sauce! Being Italian, I'm very picky about my sauce (gravy)! But, Mangia Sano has my vote for a really authentic red sauce. Great service, warm atmosphere, and the delicious coffee brought me back to a cafe in Italy! We're thrilled to have a local Italian restaurant to visit when Mama needs a break! :)
