Cute little bakery. Fantastic bread and baked goods. Very nice people. Great coffee too. You really must try it.
We dropped by a few days ago to pick up some bread and dessert. The French Brioche was amazing! My husband really liked (he mentioned it was the best) on one of the mocha cupcakes. Will definitely be driving out there again. Totally worth the drive!
The Good Loaf, simply put, rocks! Their croissants are the best I have ever had and the Spicy Challah is a meal unto itself (one that is to die for!). Just make sure to ask about their bake schedule since they seem to have different specialty breads all the time. I had no idea such an upscale existed in Milford of all places
The Good Loaf is easily the best and most authentic artisan bakery in the area. Every day their passionate and dedicated staff bake fresh, delicious and nutritious breads that have you hooked the second you sample them. Not only are they flavorful but you can find bread there that fits with every meal! They have loaves ranging from naturally levained sourdoughs and baguettes to hearty miche and 5 grain as well as breakfast breads like challah, brioche, cinnamon raisin and so much more! For a bread lover, any loaf bought there is well worth the extra couple of dollars, especially when it is held in comparison to the week old, preservative filled bread that can be found at most grocery stores nowadays. I love this bakery and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious breads and pastries.
One word Carabassett! Best coffee around! I buy mostly coffee and eggs here. Sometimes a skoan. Everything I have had is very good.
Delicious scones that are light and airy. Self-serv piping hot coffee as well.
