My girlfriend and I have been looking for a good sushi place and Oh Tokyo did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, we sat at the bar and spoke with Bill (the owner) as he prepared food and he just made the experience very comfortable. We will be back, and bringing friends. Can't recommend enough.
Food is always good and fresh. I ordered with DoorDash recently and they accidentally sent the wrong item (shrimp tempura roll rather than the shrimp tempura meal), and they resent the correct order quickly and included a small salad at no extra charge (they offered over the phone and I told them there was no need, but they sent one anyway - and it was excellent). The staff are always so kind, and I always love eating there. Great people and great food always!
Solid little place. Decent prices and good sushi. No alcohol served which was a bummer on a Friday night but overall a nice place
I drove past Oh Tokyo a million times, and have been wanting to try it for years... Until today. Every single thing that we ate here was crafted superbly! From the presentation, to the flavors, our expectations were greatly exceeded. I was pleasantly surprised with the diversity of the menu. The were some great Japanese dishes, and favorites, but there were also some of the best dishes with their thai, and Chinese offerings as well. The sushi was perfect. One thing that in my humble opinion defines sushi, is the rice. The sushi here did not disappoint, and was assembled in a superlative manner. The fish was fresh, and a higher grade as well. I will definitely be returning to sample some of their thai fare, as well as more of their splendid sushi. Very deserving of five stars.
Best sushi in the area. Chef knows everyone in town and is super welcoming, kind, and his dishes are beautifully crafted and delicious.
I dont live in michigan anymore, but I visit about 2x a year and the owner still remembers me! The customer service is super personal and the food is phenomenal! I recommend the vegas roll and coco roll. Best sushi around ❤
Quality, service, price, and cleanliness all were great. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Las Vegas roll not to be overlooked - it really was the star of the sushi we ordered.
My kids love sushi, so we came here to celebrate a birthday. Kids loved the miso soup and shrimp tempura. I got the tempenaki chicken and shrimp. Good quantity for the money and everything was yummy!
