I just happened to fly into Milwaukee airport and asked a lady to take my picture with the sign. She is a local and recommended this place to me. Boy, am I glad she did because the food was delicious.
I was happy to see so gluten-free options here, too.
I ended up getting the salmon steak that was very thick and juicy on an eddy bun.
The Coleslaw was more like Coleslaw on steroids. It was more like a oriental with lots of half peanuts.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food, service and drinks are great. I've been a few times. These photos are from June. Went here on a Saturday in the afternoon...didn't need to wait for a table.
Really great atmosphere on weekdays for solo diners! I got the Big Kahuna Tuna, and the sandwich itself was pretty good. The real star was the Lulu chips, which are large homemade chips with the blue cheese sauce! Asian slaw is good, but not enough to pass up the opportunity to get a whole side of Lulu chips.
I can't believe I'm just reviewing LuLu Cafe now. For many years, LuLu Cafe has been a preferred dining (and pick up) spot for me.
The consistently excellent food, especially their gourmet burgers, makes it a standout choice in Bay View. The diverse menu caters to a range of tastes, and my experience with other items on the menu have always been satisfying.
Flatbread items are always a delight. And pita sandwiches will never disappoint you.
The service is always exceptional, with no negative experiences or encounters so far.
While the indoor atmosphere receives a three-star rating due to personal preferences regarding lighting and seating, the availability of outdoor seating in the summer, even if it means sidewalk seating, is a welcomed option.
LuLu Cafe continues to meet all my dining needs and more, I'll always come back.
Great spot! They have a wide range of options from flatbread pizzas to burgers to pita sandwiches to some fish options and salads. Usually menus like that worry me because it’s hard to do so many different things well in one place, but LuLu has them all down. I’ve come in on my own to sit at the bar or with friends and both experiences are nice. My friend ordered us the jargaritas last time and they were fun. Don’t sleep on this spot!
Great place with great food. Staff is attentive and friendly. Love the Asian slaw. It worth a visit just for that imo.
All my visits here have been great. If you are dining in the staff will treat you great! If you are taking the food to go it will be a great dining experience either way.

Lulu has a great menu. The homemade chips and slaw are great sides. I love the atmosphere.
Cozy, calm atmosphere. Good cocktail assortment.
Had the Pizza Di Parma flatbread which was simple but good.
Favorite drink we tried was the Gin Blossom!

This was our 1st time there, nice atmosphere.... industrial-like decor, but not a cold feel....cozy, inviting. We sat at the small table in front of the window....good spot! I'm just disappointed that I forgot to order the homemade chicken with rice soup, along with my sandwich and slaw. 😔
The sweet white wine was good, but wish they'd give you a full glass instead of half 🤔
And the Chai tea was great!
