First time here. Has been on our list for a while. Heard good things about it and we were not disappointed. Street parking can be an issue, but we found a spot a block away. We had made reservations and got seated right away. Friendly host and waitstaff. Our waiter Paul did a great job with explaining the menu and shared his recommendations.
The food was very good. We ordered the artichoke appetizer, chicken parmigiana, and the special lamb shank. The food and drinks took the right amount of time to get to us (not to fast or slow). Very good preparation and flavor. The sauce on the braised Lamb Shank was extremely good. Chicken Parmigiana was one of the best we have had.
My only suggestions; the artichoke came with four pieces of bread. A couple of extra would have been nice (there was a lot of artichoke). And both entrees temperature could have been hotter.
We will definitely put this on the "dine again" list. :)
Great atmosphere and wonderful food. Had the swordfish livornese, gnocchi genovese, wood roasted beets and canoli. Drinks were on point. I would just come back for the cocktails alone.
So glad we found this place. We were seated right away and our server was super. Our drinks were delicious (traditional Old Fashioneds - not Wisconsin ones). Food was delicious and plentiful. A great experience all around and a good value too. Highly recommend - check it out for yourself.
