Food was awesome, and large portions for everything. Sparse decorations can be deceiving. Atmosphere is calm and open. Definitely worth the stop.
Went for dinner tonight and our food was absolutely amazing! Best chicken fried chicken I have ever had! Just melted in my mouth! Everything was wonderful, seasoned correctly, tasted freshly made, and hot! My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said his was the best also! Mashed potatoes and okra was delicious too! The staff is very friendly and it's very clean! The manager spoke with us, she is super sweet! Chef Ben came by also, very friendly and nice! We have been here several times and it just gets better! Everyone is so nice, promptly seated, fast service, and amazing food! Our favorite place to eat and it's in Mineola!
Great restaurant with an awesome staff! My sister and I hosted my niece's rehearsal dinner at Southern Fried this past weekend and the experience was the best! The food was delicious and the hospitality of the staff was amazing. Thank you to Ben and Brandy for arranging the dinner so beautifully. We enjoyed everything!
This place has great food and service. My fried pimento cheese burger was ridiculous!
We have tried it twice now.. the food both times.. hot, fresh an yum!!!! Lil higher priced but we'll worth it, you get great food big portion.. service an staff super friendly and fast.. pies we're fabulous!! Only thing we didn't care for we're the seats, metal type chair with no padding an not the most comfortable ..but everything else was great! I would recommend this place for sure!!
Came to do some shopping in lovely Mineola , and dropped in for lunch!!
Oh my goodness, what a great experience and awesome food. Met the chef and his lovely wife. Will definently will be coming back & will be suggesting this wonderful place to my friends!! Great atmosphere !!
