Nice little Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. I came in early so got seated by the window. Service is very good. Had 4 dishes, I think the duck sausage is the best. The pork chop is very well balanced. The dessert I had was too sweet. Rest is good but not like oh my god amazing. See pictures for reference. Overall I like this place and would recommend trying it out.
It was the perfect night to enjoy dinner outside. Food was delicious. Our server was friendly. We did have to ask for silverware, plates, and napkins which we thought was silly but overall a good experience.
We came here for the first time today, Easter. We purchased the brunch menu in advance when we made reservations. The food very good! I liked the fact that the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was not a heavy version of it.
Great spot for brunch. Cute patio outside. Love the location in Linden Hills. Highly recommend the Chorizo Benedict!
Ive been coming here for ages. Why I havent posted a review is beyond me? Maybe I wanted to keep Tilia a secret and avoid reservations...
Anyway, we popped in for brunch and I was blown away with how tasty the food was. Didn't get a chance to post a pic of the salad, but here is a pic of the avacado toast. 10/10. We also tried the donut for a desert - 10/10 - about 10 different flavors to figure out.
Just blown away by the meal we enjoyed at Tilia. It was their three course price fixe menu and wow. We had seven dishes (added one on) between the two of us and every one was delicious with creative presentation. I would have to say this was an all time top 10 meal for me.
Our favorites was the grilled table bread, seared shrimp, pan fried striped bass and the dark chocolate tart. The last three are pictured here.
The small restaurant atmosphere was great! It was fun to see into the kitchen from our table. Loved the music (mostly popular rap). Food was delicious and service was very friendly.
Great food, but felt so rushed! I was still eating my entree when they asked my husband if he wanted desert! They brought the desert while I finished my entree and left the bread on the table as well. Too bad because for a 150.00 bill it would have been nice to just enjoy everything. The waitress was nice so I'm not sure where the pressure was coming from.
I really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the three course meal. My first course was a bass crudo, which was very refreshing and loved the mango chips. The main course was the tenderloin that was medium rare. It was tender and perfectly seasoned. Then I had the chocolate tart for dessert, which was surprisingly light and with copious cream and passion fruit. The service was very welcoming and kind.

We had the pre-fix menu for $55. Totally worth it.Our server was fantastic and gave us recommendations. Dishes that I loved , ceviche, shrimp , duck , halibut ,tenderloin . Everything was espectacular. Cocktails 🙌🙌. They have a good selection of beers might might suggest adding more stouts :)
We were the last ones to leave. Thank you tilia for a great evening.
