The staff has always been friendly and the food (especially hibachi) has always been great. We love this place and have been coming here for years, and we will keep coming back.

Every bite brought out an "oh my god!" 😱 Great space, great service. I am still in awe a few hours later. The Firecracker, Spicy Scallop and Spicy Smoked Crab Rolls were our choice tonight. Plus tuna sushi and mackerel sushi. Before we left we got another 2 orders of tuna sushi. Seriously...the best!! This is my first 5 star review ever!
I have been looking for fresh, authentic Japanese cuisine in MPLS for a year and have finally found it. Absolutely delish! Fantastic service as well :)
Our hibachi chef was fabulous! First female I've seen on the grill. Very friendly and knowledgable, cooked our steaks perfectly. Initial drink/greeting service by the regular servers was not very good. Food was delicious. Overall a good experience.
After a Vikings win. Food was amazing and super fast. Would eat here again
Great Sushi!. I have lived in Minneapolis for over 6 years and I finally went to Wasabi, and having lived in Florida, the sushi was amazing! Spicy Tuna roll was fresh and delicious and the Yum Yum roll, which isn't on the menu usually only a special is sooooo good! The Chicken and Beef Satay's are kinda boring, but the Gyoza is my favorite app there. Definitely would go there with a group of friends or just want really great food..
Based solely on taste and price, Wasabi is second to none. Not only do they have fresh fish and properly made rolls, they also have an amazing staff (and sometimes free dessert...I have had it twice). Check it out!
Great Atmosphere. I really like the decor of this place and on both nights I was there I also had great dinner companions so I thought it was great. Last visit: Feb 2011.
Unexperienced sushi eater. I went to Wasabi for New Years, and I had a great time! The bartender was a little slow to serve us and was more attentive to other customers, but I also can't complain because he "hooked us up" by giving us free drinks through the night. It was my first time eating sushi, (excluding the Schwans sushi a friend had me try...ugh, won't stick that back in my mouth!) and I was pleasantly surprised...cali roll was bland, but maybe thats how it is supposed to be?
Enjoyed a sushi dinner with my wife. The service was great and able to answer our questions. The menu had a few options of dinner for two but we decided to choose our own rolls. There was a good selection of standard rolls and many specialty rolls. I really enjoyed the spicy smoked crab. It's a comfortable atmosphere and everyone sitting at the hibachi sounded like they were having fun. There was a good drink selection. I tried Japanese plum wine but it was way too sweet for my taste.
Ok. We had sushi in so many cities, restaurants, and no place in the united states matches to this amazing restaurant. We ate so much because the sushi master was guiding us to the next piece of fish. Every single one of them was fresh, tasty, well cut, well served, and so pretty. We got, uni, Toro, eel, salmon, yellowtail, and sake. Wow all so good and before we leave town we eating here again. Thanks guys we love you forever.
Great restaurant with a nice chill ambience . We came in on a Sunday and it was not packed at all .. it has great views of the city . Close to the stone arch bridge ; great for a dinner/ lunch stop after some walking in this area . The sushi was GREAT; lots of options and affordable prices . The customer service was good as well .They also have the hibachi menu . I would highly recommend and will be back soon 👌🏾
Perfect pre-show dinner for the Guthrie, as you can park in one spot and walk to the theater after. Great service, beautiful sushi plates, decent prices. Miso soup hit the spot. Fun atmosphere with vaulted ceilings yet still had Japanese flare. We made last minute plans for a show at the Guthrie and were able to get in at 6pm with no wait (other places had no reservation openings). They also have teppanyaki style cooking/eating, which we didn’t do, but looked fun and delicious.
Thank you Wasabi Sushi Fusion for putting together such a beautiful tray for my son's 16th birthday (bow and ribbon courtesy of my sister) when I couldn't be there to take him out to eat there instead. He loves your sushi and was very surprised and happy when his Aunty delivered the food to him. Thank you for taking and as always, the food is excellent!

The sushi was great, drinks were amazing really enjoyed Wasabi, you have to go up to find it, the signage was a little confusing, but minor.
Great sushi and sashimi! Pretty sure the server was brand new. Didn't know what a whiskey sour was. They just need a little bit more training.
Pretty good, not my favorite Japanese spot though. Pricy as well.
The food was delicious. Our group ordered both sushi and hibachi. The sushi rolls weren't slathered with sauce so you could actually appreciate the seafood. However, the table and floors were very sticky. Cleanliness is a huge part of a restaurant experience so that was a huge turn-off.
