With all my dietary restrictions, the chef/manager Jamie graciously came to my table and through his suggestions was able to create a wonderful custom meal for me. It was amazing and an experience I will never forget and will share with everyone. Thank you Jaimie and Kris for making my uptown outing an absolute pleasure.
The food was delicious and out waitress, Chris (sp?) was charming and very helpful. I couldn't recommend the carnitas more strongly and the mimosa was very welcome on a Sunday morning.

The traditional margarita is the best. A simple margarita but so so good. I always get the avocado taco, by far my fav. But the ahi tuna and shrimp tacos are also amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order from here. I always like doing tacos because then you get to try a few flavors. But getting a burrito or bowl is a great way to go as well!
Super quick and friendly service, AWESOME waiter who checked in many times and gave great recommendations. Reasonable prices, potent and unique drinks and nice atmosphere with bar that opens up to the outdoors. All the food was delicious from the taquitos, to the nachos to the awesome tacos. Would highly recommended
The Latino and Italian restaurant is all-in-one.
Parking is on the side and back and on the street.
The Italian food was good. A bit salty for the Sea Food Deluxe Fettuccine Alfredo, but overall was pretty decent.
Italian food is for take out and online orders to-go only. Didn’t know that but they allowed us to sit inside and order the Italian dishes from the online menu using our cell phones.
The Latino side of things were on spot for the tacos. Wish it came with more dipping sauce for the birria tacos.
Atmosphere was good. All the staffs were very friendly.
Will go back again for the birria tacos.

This was a random pick after searching for a long time. I felt this could be a good place and it was. The ambiance and place was well decorated. It has a nice patio which is well decorated with tables and nice wall paints.
Food: coming to the food they do have nice options. The appetizers list was huge and loved them.
5/5 - Empanadas were a delicious and portion is good
5/5- Fire cracker chicken lettuce wrap was a bomb. We totally loved this dish and enjoyed it.
2/5- I tried there vegan chorizo as I usually love meat chorizo and I was disappointed. I wish they have the real chorizo on the menu.

4/5 - Tres leches cake was delicious but I do have a thick layer of cream on top and that spoiled the taste a bit for me.
Drinks- I took a Lago margarita and wasn’t impressed. But my wife had a mocktail and she loved it.
Service- service was fast and quick. We dint have to wait a long time for food or service. She was quick and professional.
Suggestions- They can upgrade there patio furniture and some tables looked old and were not comfortable to sit at. Also since it’s an open patio may be they need to keep the floors clean a bit.
This has quickly become one of my go-to restaurants in the uptown area. You really can't go wrong with a good taco, and these guys have plenty to offer. Lots of unique combinations, a step away from your traditional meat, cheese, and veggie staple, but well worth the adventure. While the food was a hit, the atmosphere is where it falls off. Not much going on, but if it's nice out, you can grab a seat on the patio and enjoy some outdoor dining. Excellent staffing and reasonable pricing helps round out the overall great experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Lyn-Lake area.
My first time here and I will definitely be back. Taylor was awesome and attentive, giving good advice when I asked his opinion. Service was fast and friendly, food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Lagos Tacos in Lyn-Lake is a great spot to grab some tasty tacos. The food is generally delicious and the atmosphere is lively and fun. However, the happy hour menu is a mixed bag. While the prices are great, the food during happy hour can be hit or miss. On some days, the food is just as good as it is at other times, but on other days, the quality seems to suffer. Additionally, the staff can be a bit hectic during happy hour, running around and forgetting to bring all of the sauces that come with the tacos.
Despite these minor hiccups, Lagos Tacos is still a worthwhile visit. The menu is extensive, and there are plenty of options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. The drinks menu is also quite good, with a nice selection of beer and cocktails. The atmosphere is casual and fun, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or catch up with colleagues after work.
Overall, if you're looking for great tacos and a fun atmosphere, Lagos Tacos in Lyn-Lake is a great option. Just keep in mind that the happy hour menu can be hit or miss, and be prepared for a bit of chaos during busy times.
We used Lago Taco Uptown to cater our wedding and it was SO good! All of our wedding guests raved about how delicious and warm the food was on our wedding day. Steve was wonderful and helped make sure everything went smoothly on wedding day. If you're looking for different wedding food that is more affordable and everyone will love look no further!
One thing to be mindful of is that you'll need to rent out dishes as only plastic plates / silverware are provided.
This place has amazing food...the tacos never disappoint! I love the flexibility in ordering...up to 5 tacos-they can all be different too. Tonight I had a steak taco and a firecracker shrimp taco-both really good. The only drawback was the side of rice...small portion and just average. My company had the corn cakes as a side because they love them. Parking is a bit difficult because this road is so busy downtown...they do have a few designated spots but usually taken. Pay parking on road. GREAT AUTHENTIC TACOS. You have to pay for chips/salsa if you want to snack before dinner fyi.
Outstanding service. Outstanding food. Whether it's tacos, burritos, or even just the appetizers, everything on the menu is a good good choice.
The drinks are well made and certainly well poured to get your money's worth. After three different meals here, Lago Tacos is now my go-to taco spot and I don't see that changing any time soon.
