Great local bar to drop in for a few to many drinks or nosh on really good bar food. Brunch is great! Menu items are very much classic with no added flair. The hashbrowns are perfectly crispy! Order their house made boozy coffee!! Made with organic coffee.
The simple but delicious Seasoned Wings from Spring Street Tavern in NE were a hit! House made bleu cheese and an actual proper amount of it. 5 clucks out of 5. Highly recommend this place for the food and the fun. Great energy from the staff, good music and games. Easy to spend an hour or two here. Ample parking. Hope to be back!
For a bar at this price point in NE it don’t get much better than this. They have enough variety in their food menu to keep it interesting without trying to be too fancy. They focus on what they do best. Never had rude service. Had some genuine sweet interactions with most every bartender in here. Place is roomy, loads of places to sit. Great spot to drink during the day too. Or after dark, don’t matter. Good people always. Big patio to smoke outside. Plenty parking. Liquor store next door so you can get menthols! Vegas is down the street if you wanna go get you a 2fer at 8. They got Digital jukebox which is a huge plus. Pull tabs open til 11, kitchen open til 9 weekdays. You get just the right amount of strangers and freaks and members of the bourgeoises to make sure there’s always a stimulating conversation to have. Or at least eavesdrop if you’re not feeling extroverted today. Man I love this spot at Spring Street. And it’s on the 17 bus line with a stop right there in front.
Highly recommend the Spring Street Wings with thier signature sauce and signature blue cheese even if your a ranch person get a side of blue and try it... just might change your life!... Also breakfast ALL DAY and they make a breakfast coffee cocktail by the pitcher if you haven't had it you've never experienced a perfect brunch ice coffee extravaganza for your senses so please do... thanks spring street we had another wonderful time like always!
Food was good, had breakfast omelet, lots of fresh veggies and ham and prepared well. Coffee was fresh and tasty. Service was great, servers were friendly, helpful and patient! Came with a large group (7 tables) and they handled it well. Prices were good. We will go back again.
First time here and had a good time just relaxing after the Vikings game. Everyone seemed welcoming and accepting and the meatloaf sandwich with tots was very tasty
Best blue cheese ever and dry rub wings. Usually the waiter or waitress are friendly, but we had a pretty pushy/rude one this night unfortunately.
This place is the dream place to go if you want high-quality, unfussy food and strong drinks. I always do the chicken tender basket because the chicken is juicy but crispy, the fries or tots are perfectly seasoned, and their sauces are phenomenal. Their bleu cheese is delicious and chunky, the Spring sauce is like a BBQ/buffalo mix and perfectly balanced, and their honey mustard is just plain good. Also, the coffee drink is delicious and the most amazing thing ever for a hair-of-the-dog hangover cure. Plus, they have all day breakfast! Also, the staff are exactly the kind of people you want at your local hant - genuine people that just want you to have a good time.

Great neighborhood joint with an extensive menu. I loved this place before I had kids and still love it for an easy brunch on the weekends with kids. Everything is good here!
I ate it all gone ... before I could even take a picture :) 2nd visit here you go.
