I love this place, they have something for EVERYBODY! American, traditional Asain, teppanyaki for those who like to customize their meal, sushi, a large variety of seafood, a really nice salad bar and fresh fruit, and a multitude of desserts including a chocolate fountain!
The staff is friendly and courteous. They are very quick about clearing away your used plates and giving you refills, and always available to help you if you can't find your favorite dish.
It doesn't get any better than this! I always try to pay them a visit when I am in town because they are the best! I was there yesterday but can't wait to go back.

Food is more in quantity than quality. In all honesty, I think the draw for this place is that it has an enormous buffet as well as food prepared fresh on a grill (but who takes the time to get that?). The actual food is OK with a lot of fried stuff and some soups, fruit, ice cream and general Asian fare. Your best bet is probably the sushi. It's hard to get a massive amount of California rolls for one set price anywhere in Minnesota!
Service-wise, Teppanyaki is mediocre. They're very kid friendly; I took a two-year old who has severe food allergies and had no problems. He enjoyed looking at the small fish pond.

Pretty decent offering, for what it is.. Their selection of items on the buffet is second to none in MSP. Well, maybe one place. The food itself is pretty decent and standard buffet fare. If they just had a bank of microwaves to get the food up to hot, it'd be a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you IKEA for providing a microwave in your dining room. As such, I usually avoid most of the buffet items unless I happen to be there when they bring out something freshly cooked.. However, I really enjoy their "tapanyaki grill". Although limited in variety compared to the Mongolian grills I'm familiar with, I have been really satisfied with the end product. I've only encountered two different cooks at the grill, and one noticably seasons better every time. I consider myself lucky when I hit it right. As far as buffets are concerned, this is the one I drive out of my way to visit.
Good food, great service and lovely Asian atmosphere. There was a wide variety of salads, entrees, sides and desserts to choose from buffet style (about 12 islands) and wonderful fresh foods to choose for grilling. Beverages were brought to our table. It made for a wonderful Christmas dinner!!
The snow crab here on saturdays is fantastic. They have ample portions and actual drawn butter and it’s all prepared perfectly. It’s never more than a 2 minute wait when they run out.
I also really like the hibachi grill. If you decide to go to the hibachi line i recommend getting it spicy, because if you don’t get spicy it seems they don’t put any sauces at all on it and the results is dry and burnt food.
Good selection of sushi, not all mayo-lathered either! The cost was unbeatable too. Can't remember the last time I spent less that $15 on a lunch buffet!
Great variety of food 😋 excellent service 👌 My family and I visited here afew years ago. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere it was my daughter's bday the staff gave her a free slice of cake and sung happy birthday. 😊
This restaurant is good. There are a lot of different dishes to try. The Mexican chefs at the grill are very fun guy. I have posted a YouTube video called "Awesome Chefs of Tepenyaki Supreme Buffet." I love the loud and busy atmosphere at this restaurant. It magnify the fun eating out experience ten-folds.
For buffet food, my expectations were certainly exceeded. Plenty of fresh options that were all quite good. However, waiters are excessively pushy about reminding patrons about tipping, almost to the point of being uncomfortable.
I have eaten at this place often over the last year and I must say they are forever improving. They use to be a typical $12 buffet without drink being included, however now they are charging $15 with a drink. They also now make you pay before you eat! But no
worries the food is consistently hot! Everything was so delicious and even the crab they serve has gotten larger. The crab is even hot and the seafood is fresh. They have a large variety of sushi and you can even utilize the grill. You can also make pho! The best part is the chocolate fountain. I was a bit upset that the price increased however so has the service! The waiters were fast and friendly on a Sunday night! One of my favorite spots!

Delicious food. I love how you have options from meets, veggies, seafood and many more. The sushi here is great, I would suggest having low sodium soy sauce put out as an option. The deserts options here are amazing. You got cakes and runs of ice cream.
Delicious food! You can’t ask for more- HUGE selection of foods and good quality! Well worth the price and highly recommend!
