Rueben and pierogis are solid! We were talked into the doughnuts and not disappointed, crispy outer with a soft inner and a yummy cherry glaze drizzled over it. We were very nicely gifted some falaffels which although were tasty needed something fresh with them (personal preference maybe)... Citrus, tomato, something.... I love falafel sandwiches but alone they maybe are not for me. We will be back! Service was awesome! Uptown was getting pretty weak with it's food game but this place is a diamond

Hey Mevyn!!!! Thank you for a lovely evening last night. We celebrated a birthday and were unsure of the amount of people so you’re “counter service” style fit perfectly. The service was spot on. Everyone was incredibly friendly, our waters were refilled constantly and dishes cleared promptly. We ended up with a group of 7 so basically the entire menu was ordered and everyone very much enjoyed their food, all sharing bites across the table and agreeing the food was delicious. A special thanks to bartender Bobby Moss for the lovely champagne toast for the birthday girl! Side note (and I agreed) my DAD commented on how nice the bathrooms were I’ll definitely be back....
First time trying this place & I gotta say bagels are good and quite filling. I tried the cheese burger and it’s probably one of the most decadent burgers I’ve had, the bun had a croissant flavor and the cheese was epic, the burger patty had great flavor. You can tell I enjoyed myself. The ingredients seem fresh & high quality. I need to come back & try more things on their menu...they have quite a few Middle Eastern influences in their food which I absolutely love.
The food was fantastic! I got the Shakshuka and it was sooo good! They even let me substitute a gluten free bagel for their wood fire pita. The Shakshuka does have a slight kick to it if you're not a fan of spicy, but I thought it was excellent. And even though I'm not even a huge fan of tomatoes, I loved them in this dish! The staff was also super nice and friendly, and all the menu choices looked so good, I had a hard time deciding on one.
DON'T LISTEN to anybody who says this place is any less than incredible!!
If you don't want to pay $24/dozen for bagels, THEN DON'T! Go to cub and buy cheaper ones. Or if you CAN'T READ, don't give a company a bad review because you got charged "too much" due to your ignorance!
But if you don't mind spending a little more money for a unique experience and high quality food, please feel free to try out this pretty much anything at this incredible restaurant.
We had such a great experience at Meyvn last night. Wonderful food and great service. We tried 5 of the small plates and the Rachel sandwich and everything was absolutely wonderful. The lighting was perfect and they have some sound attenuation devices up in the ceiling so the noise level was perfect, not too loud and too quite. You must try this place and enjoy.
This is a must visit! You get to see the sausage (bagels) made right behind the counter. Great lighting with big windows views, good food, and actual breathing room in a premium area in uptown. The only reason this is 4/5 is the price. It’s expensive for what it is. A $12 bagel is still a $12 bagel.
Had an amazing egg and smoked turkey sandwich. Really liked the interior decor as well. Patio is also cute. Can't wait to try their bagels.
Another awesome place. Really great bagels and toppings. One concern- the amount of staff they had working was a little ridiculous, and I think that's a factor in the high prices. You'd expect 6-8 people to run a place like this, but there were almost 20 when I was there. Helps keep the quality of product and service high, but high overhead raises questions about life span. But hey- not my job to worry. Enjoy it while it's here.
Great spot, not too busy in the mornings and the bagels are DELICIOUS!! Don't go in expecting you'll get a $3 bagel, because you won't - ingredients add up quickly - but the bagel is amazing. I highly recommend the GARLIC & ONION bagel with JALAPEÑO schmear! YUM!
The carbs are amazing, everything else here is good to great. It's not a true Jewish style food/deli but a good spin on it, I'd still put Prime Deli on top (especially on the meat) but Meyvn is a bit more reasonably priced
Meyvn made me realize I had a bagel void in my life! Now I have no choice but to go back regularly to satisfy my bagel urges. It’s such a fun place and cool concept.
