We had such a great experience here. Everyone was so friendly. Our waitress, Lilian was the best. She is so helpful and personable. The food came right away. It was a perfect size for one person and it came with a dessert. They also give you a 20% discount and free ice-cream for your birthday. Also, the Kung Fu tea place which is in the restaurant has the best bubble tea!! I'll definitely recommend this place.
If you're a light eater Lepot is the right place to dine in. I loved their little pot for each individual instead of sharing a big pot with multiple person.
This restaurant is a must go to when I come back home to the city!

Conclusion: Dinkytown is a quiet student neighbourhood in the daytime, The restaurants centrally located and also has a boba spot at the front of the store, a tick in anyone’s book. I liked how simple the menu was and the wide array of choices of meats and vegetables, something for everyone!
I have visited on three occasions and each time was consistently great. I always opt for the valentines pot which costs the same amount as a regular pot and during the meal they come over and top up your soup base with clear broth. Highly recommend the pork bone broth as it’s clear, fresh and tasty. I also really like their self service sauce station where you can make as many sauces to your taste.
We ordered two lots of the soup bases, a wide selection of meats and vegetables and it ended up costing around $70 for two including a tip. Overall this spot is amazing, great service, sizeable portions and fair pricing. Would come back every week.
Our first Hotpot experience. I don't have anything to compare it to but overall had a great dinner with my family. Pick whatever you like or want to try and cook it as you converse with you table. Very cool that you can split your broths you cook your ingredients in. The spicy broth is 🔥. Many choices for veggies, proteins, and noodles. Loved the sauce mixing station with many choices. They do need more beverage choices in case you don't want tea. Excited to try others soon. Pay parking nearby.

LePot is quite nice. This is a pretty narrow restaurant but can seat groups of six or eight pretty well. Everybody gets their own hot pot and burner and you get to have your meal. The prices are decent. The serving sizes are average as well. I would say the sauce bar is quite nice and they have a few prepared recipes for you. The buzzer on the wall gives you pretty good control over service so you can call someone to come anytime you need it and they provide big pictures of water so that you are pretty much independent. It's great to use this restaurant as a place together with friends. Parking can be atrocious because you're on campus and with Minneapolis parking systems it can be pretty tight. There is a lot of construction going on so you are also competing against that traffic.
Since they are located with a kung fu tea attached you can get boba easily. There is a 5% discount for paying in cash and they automatically add the tip in large groups. My group of five had a tip automatically included. It's a pretty busy restaurant.
Yum! This was our first hot pot experience and we loved it! Make sure to not order too much meat like we did. We where stuffed! The meat portions are big, one portion is good for 2 people. Definitely a fun experience and will try again. Staff was friendly too and wait wasn’t long.

A new hot pot experience for us. Hot pot is essentially Asian fondue with interesting meats (tendons and offal) thrown in if you are so inclined - we weren't but my son and I had a different broth each and some meats and veggies which were very tasty.
Service might have been a little better and having strangers seated next to us was a little odd given there were lots of open tables. We waiting for a long while before anyone brought us more water after our glasses had been empty for a while and an explanation for new comers would have been appreciated. We eventually fumbled through the ordering process to some eye rolling from our server.
$41 before tip for 2 people for an interesting lunch experience - very worthwhile.
For the uninitiated, you first pick the broth and the spicy level then you pick stuff you'd like to dunk and cook. This can range from raw chicken, pork and beef to interesting cuts, plus veggies, mushrooms, etc and then a starch like egg noodles (comes in an instant ramen like brick), udon, vermicelli or rice. They bring your soup pot, you turn on the induction burner set into your table trying not to have it boil over all over the table and then you start fonduing. Fun.
Just make sure you cook your raw meats and think for a second the order you take stuff out to eat and put raw stuff in to cook and you will not die...probably.
If the Hobbit's Shire had a hot pot place, this might be it. The portions and dishware were miniature in size.
Overall, I think this is a solid hot pot place. The food was on par, not particularly fresh, but nothing terrible either. Not a place you would take a date but a place you could gather with some friends.

A really interesting hot spot place where you can also get bubble tea. The atmosphere doesn't look like anything impressive but the food is great. Everyone gets their personal hotpot and can even have two flavors at once. There are tons of options for your hot pot ingredients and sauces. I also love the button to call for a server. Finally the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely come back.
