Greek Grill Minneapolis

Yummy hummus and pita bread that let me escape to the Mediterranean during a busy day. A real treat!

I met a friend downtown at this cafe and was really impressed with the quality of food. It came out fast and the flavors were amazing! I came in thinking I would try the Gyro but as soon as I saw that Afghani chicken kabobs were on the menu, I knew I had to try it. I love Afghani food and felt like the flavors were authentic and delicious! When you order, you get a choice of having the meal with rice or salad. I chose rice and it was divine! It came with yellow-turmeric rice that was packed with flavor. The plate comes with naan as well. My friend got hers with salad and it looked amazing too but I wasn't feeling particularly healthy and I'm always down to eat carbs. The side dips (I think one was tzatziki sauce) tasted perfect too ! And don't forget the hot sauce. I also got a side of 2 dolmas (dolmades/stuffed grape leaves) and they tasted amazing and very authentic. The downside was that they were 89 cents each which made my total bill about $14-15 but it was worth it for the amount of food I got. I was able to get 2-3 servings out of it! There was ample amount of seating when I got there at 11:30am but I noticed that the place filled up fast within 30 mins!
