Good coffee and friendly service. Lots of tables with plenty of room and plenty of bright light for doing work. The decor is cool with lots of old maps on display. There is limited bike parking nearby, however. My main gripe with the interior is that is was incredibly hot inside on the day that I visited. I was sweating profusely just sitting there, and I would have stayed a lot longer if the cafe has been at a more reasonable temperature.
Nice place to meet up. Coffee is great, I love places like this that have medium brews instead of just light and dark. I wish they stayed open longer. Also, I wish they had mugs to use there instead of a throwaway cup.
This place had great wifi for studying. There were not too many people there but still. There was plenty of space and the place had an overall good vibe. My friend bought a panini which tasted good but a little overpriced for what you get.
Didn't get to try the coffee or anything since I just went with her for lunch and I had already eaten.
The four stars is for the wifi which ran about 15 MB for my computer when tested!
Really tasty chai and even had some vegan baked goodies, which is great! The atmosphere is very inviting, and usually has lots of people studying or reading weekends and weekdays alike. Could use more fun energy from decorations, books and magazines laid out, or small public events held there! The location of Mapps is also really prime 👍🏽
One of my favorite spots on west bank! Great paninis. They have lots of mugs, so I recommend getting your favorite coffee in one and sitting down for a while.
I tried their chai tea latte at the Global Market location and was completely blown away. I believe it was one of the owners who sold it to me that morning, and he described how they make the chai blend themselves. It definitely tastes like a lot of love goes into it. Best chai I've ever had. Will definitely be back.
Excellent staff, prompt service, cozy & cultural environment, and damn good coffee. Definitely my favorite place to grab a zebra mocha near U of M campus.
Wonderful staff, AMAZING coffee, and any baked good you could want. The people (the staff and the customers) are friendly and kind. This is the best coffee shop in Minneapolis!!
Great place to meet friends and colleagues, but for me, it is not the ideal place to get any work done: Too many interruptions. The latte and coffee are consistently good.
Fantastic freshly house roasted beans. I liked the coffee enough to take home a pound. Good selection of sandwiches and sweets too.
