Friendly staff serving delicious breakfast sandwiches! The garlic buttered and toasted bread is a tasty touch. The sandwich seemed small at first but after consumption it fills an empty stomach perfectly. The richness would probably make a bigger sandwich too much of a good thing.
Sammy's is a black owned Eatery in North Minneapolis. Anytime i have to go to that area, I always stop by. The customer service is top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. I order the tuna club to go and it didnt disappoint.
Don't have photos cause I inhaled the food. Got the Turkey Club (8.2) and Hot Roasted Chicken (9.5). The Chicken Sam is unbelievable. Great service. Knew the food would be lit as soon as I walked in, and it was. HIGHLY recommend. Would go out of my way for this. Okay, I'll calm down now.
5+ Stars to Sammy's! We worked with Sammy's to cater a local film screening event based off their reviews, as I am located out of state. We had very particular needs and they knocked it out of the park. The service and food was outstanding! Everyone wanted to know where it came from and commented on how great and fresh everything was. We are so thankful for Sammy's and wish them all the very best.
I didn't go the the actual space, but bought some potato salad and chicken salad at North Market for a dinner at a friend's house. They were both SO good. High quality ingredients, nice creamy sauce, excellent flavor, perfect salt levels. I'm a bit picky about potato salad and this was just perfection.

Sammy’s Avenue Eatery is a locally owned sandwich shop and cafe. There is an emphasis on fresh ingredients and I appreciate my order being prepared right in front of me. I especially wanted to point out their breakfast sandwiches. I had a ham and egg sandwich on Texas toast. Truly the highlight of my order. Ham and Turkey sub on wheat was also quite good. Had pleasant conversation with the employees while I was there. A friendly group at Sammy’s.
I look forward to stopping in again, particularly for breakfast.
Garlic bread breakfast sandwiches were amazing. The reason for the 4 star is because they are often not open at the time listed and they were still prepping when they finally opened. Otherwise, the food and drinks are great. When you have to get to work, it would be nice to open on time. Would love to continue to support your business.
I loved my Turkey Bacon Club but couldn't decide between the Jerk chicken at first. So I went back the next day and it was so worth it. Loved the fresh greens and the cakes are good too.
Roasted chicken sandwich was wonderful. Generous portions for the soup. Service was a little slow but otherwise a great experience!
I'm a picky eater, but I'm always hungry so it's hard to find a place I like, but the staff at Sammy's are friendly and professional and I liked everything I tried. If sweet drinks are your thing...you gotta try the Carmel Latte :)
