Great low key breakfast place. We went two days in a row while family was visiting me. Good biscuits, eggs were cooked properly and conecuh sausage all good. Spring for the locally smoked bacon. Amazing!
Great customer service and great food. Hole in the wall, and off the beaten path but definitely worth a visit. The owner actually came out and talked to us, just to try to build a rapport with his customers, you don't get that in most places anymore. Also as my husband and I were out riding bikes the owner offered us water refills for our bottles as we were checking out the menu before we even stopped there to eat lunch later. We will certainly be back.
Fantastic breakfast. I've lived here for nearly a year now and most places serve up a lousy breakfast. But finally I made it to Bob's! Try the sausage gravy!
Great place. The food is fantastic and the employees are friendly. I can't recommend the Bob's Burger enough

A nice suprise. I finally got a chance to try Bob's Downtown today. I went expecting to get a what looked like a nice Poboy. That'll have to wait for next time. What I didn't expect was a great meat and three.
I like liver. There. I said it. No it's not popular and, therefore, finding it (much less finding it well prepared) is unusual. So, not only did I get to find a great new meat & 3, but I found one that serves a superior liver and onions. Tender, not too strong with great gravy and vegetables. Can't ask for more if you like liver.
The guy with me had the fried pork chop. He couldn't tell me how he liked it because he didn't slow down until it was gone. "Good stuff", he finally mumbled as he downed his sweet tea. The fried okra was a perfect compliment with both our meals. "That stuff wasn't poured from a bag", he added. He was right. The cornmeal coating was light and the okra was perfect.
Service was excellent and the waitress was sassy. I saw folks in all kinds of dress from business suits to welding coveralls. The rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked as good as what we got. Maybe I'll come back for dinner.
Give Bob's a try for lunch one day. I think you'll be pleased.

St. Francis Breakfast. Two eggs any way you want 'em, three strips of bacon, buttery grits, conecuh sausage, and a biscuit. Very full. Perfect for brunch. Every time I come here, the food is fantastic. My new favourite place. Support local businesses! Hubby and I both got the same thing, plus sweet teas for each of us, plus tip an' all was $25.
