Shannon was incredible!!! Love this place. The food was great & the staff was awesome. Even with our huge party while they were extremely slammed, the staff was more than accommodating! Highly recommend brunch here, to anyone. :)
Great food & great beer selection. Shrimp & Grits to die for. Fantastic gumbo. LaFayette Burger, I could eat it at every meal.
Best burger in downtown! Was very well staffed and a delightful young lady. Plain and simple. Priced great! Service - excellent. Food - excellent! Go eat here!
Stopped here passing through Mobile from Florida back to LA, because it was the first place that popped up on Zomato. It's a little dive bar looking place, but boy what a gem. It's Sunday so there was a brunch menu and we had a hard time choosing. We had the shrimp and grits, crawfish bennies, and some beignets. Everything was divine. The shrimp and grits is what I had and it was a heavy cream based sauce which I much prefer to a brown gravy based sauce. Some of the best I've ever had. Will return when passing through again!

We love this place. It's a great little dive and we've never been disappointed with our food. You'll find a great craft beer selection and entertainment most nights of the week.
Loved the courtyard seating! The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The server was not very attentive and a little slow. I'd still probably visit again.
Best mahi and best fried pickles everrrr! I love the service, creative dishes, and atmosphere at this great little restaurant/bar/venue. What a great cook they must have. Keep coming back here whenever I get the chance.
The Blind Mule is our favorite lunch spot. We usually don't get a chance to grab lunch till after 1pm and it's doesn't close at 2pm like Royal St Cafe & Mama's. Our favorites here are the Shrimp & Grits, Loooaded Nachos and Buffalo Chicken wrap. The wings are good too! If it's a nice day, we like sitting out in their courtyard.
Hole in the wall, quaint atmosphere.....nothing fancy so wear your jeans or shorts. Food is consistently excellent and prices moderate. Service usually very adequate. The boudin wrap is one of the most awesome sandwiches anywhere. Good bar.
Cajun Mexican!. Easy to get to, and parking in front or on the side. Not yo busy for a Wednesday evening, the host was our sever and was very pleasant. Some great non usual domestic beers on tap, I went with the Belgium ale, which went very w ell with the chips and salsa to start. The chops freshly made, the salsa was nicely chunky, and adding some hot sauce really brought it out. My entree was the Red Beans and Rice which came with the conecuh sausage, just a great mix of favors that cannot be beat.
I really like this place. Sure, it's a little rough around the edges but the staff is great, the food is consistently good and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. They have an amazing courtyard (best in downtown) and a great craft beer selection. Local art for sale on the walls, comedy shows and great local bands most weekends. I know some people are hard to please but don't let the negative reviews scare you off. The Blind Mule is a Mobile institution!

All the other reviewers are fun sponges. I go to the Mule all the time. I love the food and the ladies (and guys) who work there. I am disappointed in so many people disliking the food. It's amusing to me because instead of having the balls to complain to the cook or owner to see if the issue could be taken care of on site, they just come online and whine in Urban spoon reviews. Yeah, they're not perfect (because ya know, we're all human), and I've had better burgers other places, but if I ever have had an issue with my food, I'll say something about it and it gets taken care of.
The servers are all friendly and like to have fun with the customers. I've read some people saying that the servers were offensive or rude. It seems to me that you (reviewers), just don't have the same humor as the servers do. And that's okay! All you do is tell the girl so - "hey when you said such-and-such thing, that offended me for blank reason. Do you mind not talking like that anymore?" and I know that they would respect your wishes. That is a lot more respectable than complaining on Urban Spoon.
This is one of my favorite places to go for either dinner or drinks. They're always awesome and friendly. I love going there and always recommend the place as a great spot to go in Mobile!
