Best BBQ in Oklahoma. I have eaten a lot of bbq across the state and I would have go with Smokehouse Bob's as the best around. I read a review once that said if you can't smell the bbq smoking from outside then skip the establishment, Bob's definitely gets your mouth watering as soon as you exit your car. My kids enjoy the ribs and catfish. My wife and I 99% of the time can't help but order the sliced brisket sandwich. It's not really a sandwich as much as it is generous portions of sliced brisket lying atop some bread. The fries are fresh, the baked beans are good, and you are provided tomatoes fresh from the vegetable garden planted next to the restaurant. I believe there are a few pie selections, but Bob's is known for their individual sized sweet potato pies which converted me into a fan. The price is right, service is friendly, I highly recommend dropping by for your next bbq fix.
If you can only eat at one place in Muskogee this is it!. The owners make you feel welcome. The food is perfect and it's got a cool atmosphere ! They grow
their own vegetables and the sweet potato pie is AMAZING!
I was so glad to find this sweet little place! We were trying to avoid the big chains while visiting Muskogee, and found this little BBQ joint just north of commercial central. The BBQ was awesome! Even if it hadn't been awesome, it still would have been a great time because the owners made us feel so welcome. You must stop by here if you find yourself in Muskogee and want a little local flair.
