One of Nashville's best and most consistent restaurants. They always treat you like gold there. You'll never leave feeling less than full. It's hearty food, and healthy portions. A must visit in Nashville. The coconut curry salmon is one of Nashville's signature dishes, IMO. Go there - ya can't go wrong. :^D
I've only been here once but I will say the crab cakes Benedict may have been the best breakfast I've ever had! Charming place, cook neighborhood
I knew I was going to love this restaurant even before going there for the first time. Their menu is awesome. I love local family-run businesses and this one is no different.
Service wasn’t bad, food was excellent, vibe is good.
If I have to nitpick, I’ll say the lighting inside could be better. Sightly dimmer lights would set the atmosphere more cozy. I’m sure most people don’t care about that though. I love mood lighting, so I noticed that.
Finding street parking is hard but not impossible in Germantown. And depending on the day/time of the week, it might be closer or far from the restaurant.
Definitely will be going there again and recommend to other people!
We had a great lunch here today! We got the Caesar salad with blackened chicken, the salmon barbecue burger with french fries and the apple pie for dessert, everything was amazing. The service was excellent as well, Lacey was so rad and kind. The gentleman who sat us at our table was super nice too. Bathroom was so clean and nice I could have taken a nap in there. We’ll be back next time were in Nashville! For real, the food was so good!
That French onion soup was something else, truly out of this world. Now, about the chicken sandwich—such a perfect combo of sweet jam and tangy pickle in every bite. Service? Lightning quick and super attentive.
This place knows what it's doing, no doubt about it. Way to go!

Germantown Cafe was a great choice for Sunday brunch. Menu had ample choices for everyone at our table. The place was very busy and extremely loud when 100 plus people started talking and then talking louder because they couldn't hear themselves. They offer topless brunch drinks (there spin on bottomless) and they were plenty strong. Some choices were more filling than others and most required you to get a side to go with if you were hungry. Food came out quick for the size of the crowd and the server came back enough to keep us topless. I look forward to trying the lunch and dinner menu.
Great brunch spot the music volume was not to loud but the place was do to all the talking. The fiancée and I could still hear each other so no worries on that. We were able to be seated quickly for a Sunday brunch at 11pm with no reservations (still recommend a reservation) the food was great the breakfast bowl was good the fiancée found it a little spicy. The biscuit and gravy has a chorizo twist but really helps bring extra flavor to the gravy with a fluffy delicious biscuit. The crab cake eggs Benedict was tasty definitely get the grits on the side not the potatoes. The poach an egg perfectly which is high praise as most places seem to either under cook or over cook them.
Dani was our bartender she was the BEST. Great advice on the food. I got the Asian salad with chicken, and I added a salmon steak on top. I got it two days ago, and I still can't stop thinking about it. I hope when I get to Heaven the food will be this good. All the staff here are the BEST...4 months ago
We came back today and yippee Dani waited on us. How could I not get the same as above at this 10 star restaurant.
Delicious! I loved the crab cakes with the grits, it was amazing! I didn’t like the hollandaise sauce but other than that my meal was tasty and very flavorful! Well seasoned but not salty! My friend stated that the shrimp and grits was extremely good! The MONKEY BREAD APPETIZER WAS SCRUMPTIOUS, must try that! The atmosphere was nice and I had a great server! Kind of loud but overall great experience!!!
Exceptional top shelf, professional friendly staff. Loved everything about this place, a must to go to place. 👍After taking our plum tenderloin home I was going to heat it up and as you can see it was burnt on the side which was on the potatoes. Really!!! A week after my review no one reached out to me about this problem, what kind of management with a business does this?
Enjoyed yet another delicious brunch on Father’s Day and had wonderful service from Dani. It’s the best of Nashville - a solid staple in a city of fly by night establishments with trendy this or that. However when you want a solid dining experience where service and can do are the norm I can’t recommend this more.
Visiting from the Southwest and we love to try local restaurants. Germantown Café did not disappoint. The service was great, the food was better and the atmosphere was super pleasant. We will visit again.
