This place is a trailer with a drive-thru and some outdoor seating. The staff is incredibly friendly. (I lived in Texas for 3 years and traveled all over Texas trying different BBQ places, so I have some credibility when it comes to this BBQ review.) While this place wasn't *the best* BBQ place I've ever eaten at, it was certainly up there in my top ten. Personally, I care more about the quality of the meat than the actual sauces, and this place has some really great quality brisket. You can just tell it's super fresh. The sausage was meh for me though. Mostly, because it was a little too greasy for my taste, but some people love that. Overall, it's a great little BBQ place. A hidden gem.
One word: Authentic! We're from Texas where we serve BBQ at all major events so we went looking for real Memphis BBQ - bullseye!
I visited this location about a month ago with a friend. Being a vegetarian at a BBQ place was obviously not the best, I had a few sides for a meal there were great. Today the same fellow was working and called out to me. He remembered who I was and informed me that since my last visit he had purchased black bean burgers and gluten free buns. I was so excited to try it and I was not disappointed! Not a traditional place to get a veggie burger but worth it to try! I don't usually write reviews but the man there made my day and I just had to share.
A great place to visit for excellent food and fast friendly service! One of the best brisket sandwiches where the meat is the star attraction. One complaint, sandwich has more meat than the oversized bun can handle, also need more napkins! 2 Thumbs up!!
So good, one of my favorite BBQ places in tn! For what it is it's fairly priced I'd even say inexpensive. The young man Zach behind the register was handsome and charming I'd like to set my granddaughter up with him! Great place I'll surely tell a friend
Maybe avoid the Sausage and Cheese Plate, but everything else is incredible. Try the smoked wings, better than anyone else in Nashville or the Loaded Potato with white sauce that could probably feed 2. Great personalities and a good bargain.
Really great place to eat, food is awesome and you get a lot for the price you pay compared to other bbq places. I got way too much food the first time i went so this time i ordered just the jr bbq sandwich by itself and it was almost too much for one meal. Btw my husband ordered the cheeseburger and it was a huge patty cooked to perfection, he couldn't believe how good it was getting it from a place that specializes in bbq. Don't pass this place up, its amazing!
We ordered ribs and BBQ turkey. Ribs were a delicious dry rub. The turkey had a slow smoky flavor. My family loved it. Will definitely be back.
I had the BBQ potato and it was good and filling. The hot BBQ sauce is really tasty. The staff was a little standoffish but we didn't go for the conversation just local BBQ.
Awesome BBQ place. Highly recommend it!! Great brisket and pulled pork! Their sauces are amazing. Nice and friendly workers.
