Great food, flawless service and friendly, convivial atmosphere. I had asked the folks at Dalton’s to set up a table for 12 this past Saturday evening for a group going-away party. They were so accommodating and so welcoming to our group that we all felt like pampered guests. We will return, time and time again to eat and socialize at this wonderful neighborhood gem. Thanks a million!
It was my first time there. I had the salisbury steak. The food was very good. The service was excellent. I will go back.
This place has really good food. My boyfriend ordered the steak and biscuits dinner which he thought was really good. My son ordered the grilled cheese and onion rings which he thought was good and I ordered the club sandwich with chips which was soo good. I switched sides with my son and let me tell you, the onion rings are phenomenal!!
Love this place have been going here for years but the food quality has gone down while the price has gone up and if this continues my mark them off my list of eating options
This place is great. It gets busy early so if you can do dinner at 6:30 or 7, thats the best time.

One of my favorite places to eat. Food is consistently good, service is great and conversations can be held without shouting over loud music so many places have now.
Overall, solid food and very fair prices. This restaurant is definitely a reflection of older Nashville versus new Nashville where you can sit at the bar or sit at a table or a high top and order simple appetizers to meat and three dinners. There is nothing fancy about this place, but it does feel welcoming and totally unpretentious. The wait staff were fantastic, and the service was quick.
