Nice folks - excellent subs. This is a great little family owned donut and sub shop at the end of a small strip mall. I eat there frequently, sometimes several times a week, and have eaten here well over a hundred times in the past two years. Even having eaten here that many times, I've never been disappointed as the food and service are consistently good. My favorite menu item is the turkey and cheese sub with a good collection of toppings, chips and a drink. The large sandwiches always taste great, and everything is reasonably priced. The lady who makes the sandwiches is very nice and does an excellent job, and the owners are friendly. I'll definitely continue to eat here as long as I work in the area. Although I always get subs, I've also had donuts and a bear claw, and can say they are good as well. I think you'll enjoy this hidden gem of a place, too.
The Donut Place has the best tasting donuts and they are fresh daily. They taste better than Krispy Creme and not as expensive. Love them!!!!!!!!!!
All they had left were 3 Apple Fritters so we bought all 3. Even cut in 1/2 it was more than enough for 1 person. SO GOOD! My husband said "if this was all that's left, how good were the donuts!?!" Can't wait to go back and find out! I was never an apple fritter fan - untill today! Delicious!
We like this little donut place. We always get the apple fritter...it is very big and very good! They also have various donuts (plain glazed, chocolate, cake, blueberry, etc) and large cinnamon buns that are big enough to share if you want. Never too busy when we stop, although if you go later in the morning, some things are sold out.
This place should be called "Best Apple Fritters!" Simply the most amazing thing I've had for breakfast in a real long time. Be warned though, these things are big and sweet and best if they are shared.
Private Investigator Renee Brewer here, I travel all over Nashville working on cases. I stopped in this place called The Subhouse / Donut Place because the sign had a list of sandwiches. I had the grilled chicken with avocado - delicious. I was very delighted to find this place. It took a few minutes to get my order and it was well worth the wait. It was a great surprise since I don't care for sandwiches most of the time. I enjoyed the bread, the texture of the chicken and the very fresh tomato! Wow! Excellent sandwich. Thanks!
They have THE BEST apple fritters! All of their doughnuts are good, but those are absolutely amazing. Great service, too. I love this place.
Went next door to a cuban place for a sandwhich which they didn't have. The Donut Shop had one and it tasted wonderful. Didn't realize the were a donut shop until I came in because outside they say they sell sandwhiches, excellent hole in the wall kind of place to eat.
If you like old fashioned donuts as much as I do, you'll love this place! Made fresh, on site, every morning, these donuts are sure to inspire your morning.

I go here for breakfast and lunch twice a week (when I'm in the area). And I'll keep going back. The food is delicious and the people are kind. I love it.
