I've been coming in here since they have opened the doors !! I'm glad they put this beautiful market in the downtown area !! I've came in here to buy many of items, such as, yogurt, sandwiches, sushi, different salads, nuts, snacks, meats, hot food bar, and drinks !! They've just remodeled a couple of months ago, and a beautiful place to sit down and enjoy your meal !!! Great Atmosphere and the workers are very nice and helpful !! So come on down and check it

After living in New Haven for almost 7 years, I went in for the first time yesterday since their opening. I left with such a wonderful impression and literally, a great taste in my mouth lol. What a beautiful, clean market with exceptional gourmet options, many of which were kosher [which is really important for our family]. They certainly boast competition with the boutique and big box corp. through their various and different selections -it's def worth the trip. They make food shopping appealing and I can't wait until my next market run. I can't believe I've waited all this time to explore it!
Very expensive but much closer than Whole Foods! FANTASTIC cheese selection-great for selecting cheeses for a cheese party or special occasion or just to sample nice cheeses any day! There's quite a bit of healthy prepared foods (hot and cold) if you are in a rush. They carry a lot of organic fruit and veg and if you are veg or vegan you will find a great grocery selection. Free parking in the attached garage as well- ask for a ticket.
I shop at Elm City Market, a few times per month. Their greens and other vegetables are fairly priced. They have an amazing selection of healthy beverages. If organic and healthy is your thing, Elm City Market is one of the best.
Always a great experience here. The employees here are friendly and very helpful! Love the fresh organic produce and the fresh wild Caught salmon. Some organic products are pricey but I believe that's everywhere. My family is worth it. ❤️
Although I am a person who isn't into eating healthy, I still say that this place is a must for anyone who hasn't been to a place like this. Its like a whole foods and a stop and shop combined into one healthy foods market. My favorite things that they have at this market are the red bean buns and the flank steak. I am definitely coming back to this place!
Great little market. Unlike most boutique markets eg, Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, ECM has prices comparable to normal big box grocery stores. The meat and produce options are abundant and 1st class. Wonderful prepared foods as well. Check it out.
This store has tons of fresh food and health products. The staff do an awesome job of explaining the health benefits of the items they offer. Cool place!
Very clean and bright grocery store in the midst of a busy city. The seafood counter offers a variety of fresh fish but the handmade salmon cakes are delish! The products are healthy and often locally sourced.
