The food here is simply delicious. All of it is food we know and grew up with. Great layers of flavor in each dish. Great atmosphere and location. We had the shrimp & fried green tomatoes, chicken gizzard grillades & grits, pork belly & watermelon to start. All had fantastic flavors and were very fair portions. We moved on to the shrimp & gris gris grits and the seafood stuffed crab, wow wow wow!!!! We finished with the chocolate cheesecake, so decadent yet not overwhelming. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine and Ferrel’s Storm which was balanced as well as delicious. The service was super friendly and professional without being stuffy. Do yourself a favor and get there now!!! This place is guaranteed to quickly become a New Orleans institution!!! Thank you Eric and Brooke, we will surely return many times!!!
The food was wonderfully flavored and plates beautiful. The Oyster BLT, Fried green tomatoes and Shrimp, and Gizzards and Grillades are all layered with complexity and show the diverse skills the chefs bring to the table. A dish that everyone was raving about and definitely next on my list to try is the Pork belly with compressed Watermelon. In addition to the food, the atmosphere was exquisite and the staff were friendly and professional. There is so much more to try on the menu that I can't wait to go back again and again. No doubt one of the top new restaurants in New Orleans led by a team of long-tested chefs with a wealth of culinary experience they wish to share with you.
Great food. Perfect seasoning. Presentation on point. Drinks were incredible. Easy 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back.
PorkChop was huge, cooked to perfection, Pork belly and watermelon is a brilliant combo. King Emmitt and Mojo Tea cocktails were delish! Will definitely come back!!!
