As far as museum restaurants go, this was really good. The ambiance is nice, full bar, and there is a fairly wide variety of food. I love their portobello sandwich and victory garden salad (with chicken!). The French fries are good, but each sandwich or burger comes with a lot of them so if you are looking to go easy on the salt, you may want to swap the fries for something else. The restaurant gets busy at lunch time and just about any time the movie gets out so I recommend either making reservations or be comfortable waiting a little bit. The longest we waited was 10 minutes, though.

Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is great. The beer I got tasted like stout somehow. I liked it. I recommend the all American burger. And for the beignets fries. If the waiter says it’s big. It’s big. One is enough for 2,3 peoples.

For a museum restaurant the food was really good. The wait was a little long so we opted to sit at the bar. It was a little hard to compete for the bartenders attention to place an order but as they slowed down they became very friendly and talkative which I happen to like. The restaurant was clean (as were the restrooms) an decorated nicely. It gave the feeling of a high end restaurant. Menu prices were reasonable and the food was good.

Pleasantly surprised at the selections on the menu. The andioulle sausage balls were wonderful. The waitress could have been more attentive, she had three tables, yet never noticed our glasses needed refilling, we had to ask.

The restaurant sits inside of the National WWII Museum. We were there at lunch and dropped in without a reservation. It was a quick 15-minute wait with the gift shop adjacent to the restaurant. The interior is neat and clean with a modern feel. The full bar occupies the center of the room. The walls have large period photos of Hollywood movie stars. The food is typical bar fare, burgers, salads, and with several entrees. My wife had the gumbo for starters, and the wedge salad with shrimp added to it. I had the bomber burger, which comes with fries. Our food arrived in a reasonable time. My wife was overwhelmed by the size of the wedge salad and the large amount of dressing; a bit too much. The added shrimp were great. When my burger arrived, I realized they never asked how I wanted it prepared. Nevertheless, everything was good. But that's it. Not great, not bad, just good. On the upside, the service was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Pleasantly greeted, thoughtfully seated. I was in a wheelchair and solicitously asked if I'd prefer to switch to a chair, which I did. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone. The portions aren't overly large. The flavors were BEYOND DELICIOUS. If you don't get the beignet fries w/raspberry sauce, were you even really there?? Loved our service too.

The restaurant at the World War II museum was a pleasant surprise for us during the visit. As a visit to the museum is at least a full day (or more), we needed to grab food while there. There was a full service bar and restaurant. Our food and drinks were great. We also tried the lemon meringue pie that was a tribute to Bob Hope and based off a recipe he liked. The restaurant was decorated based off the historical layout. A Tootsie Roll with a history was provided with the bill. Well done.

Typical museum dining. Some of the food was very good for the price. I would dine here again. Portion sizes were very large.

We were visited the WWII War Museum and stopped in to have a meal. I ordered the seared salmon with kale and beets. The salmon was done perfectly and the beets and kale were very good. Their shrimp poor boy looked appetizing as well. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

Very nice place for lunch after you tour the museum! The staff are great & very attentive! The classic cheeseburger was perfectly done! Their patty melt is one of the best I've ever had! The fries are seasoned so perfectly you don't need dipping sauce!
