Really enjoyed lunch here- menu items are definitely rich and savory. Can't speak to the dinner menu, but would absolutely return. Loved that our waiter explained how to eat unique dishes like the drum neck
Just look at the picture. The food is incredible. Distinct and weird (if you're from the north) and have never seen or or heard of something like what we got. Oh, and you can have turtle, gator and venison here! Not common for some Detroiters !
And the service/ wait staff, so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend. Drinks are pretty cool too. Try the melon smoke cocktail and the hole 43. Well crafted. The wine selection is extensive (kinda pricey). Warning, though, this is something you'll want to make sure you are OK spending the money for, especially if you aren't familiar with the dishes. But, it worked out for my girl and I so. Enjoy!
The crawfish pie was delicious and was my favorite. I was not big in the quail. It had a spicy kick to it but just not completely right there- not sure about what and why but one thing for sure was the temperature. Perhaps it was due to it got fired too early yet had to wait for the pie to be ready- it was only kid of like warm.
Over all it was very good experience. Fabulous vibe and deco. Our waiter Chris explained the drink and dinner menu very well with great details and highlight!
