We had to come back to Local 718 every day of our trip! We would only drink a Hurricane (a New Orleans must!) unless it was made with love by Angelica — she was absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommend… and the balcony is beautiful!
Holly is by far the most incredible bartender I had the pleasure of being taken care of.we came in after going to several bars trying to find one that served coors banquet (my grandfather’s favorite beer) to celebrate his life, as he would have been 99 years old to the day. Holly took care of us from the second we arrived to the moment we left the bar that evening, and every one of us left with a smile on our faces. She truly cares about what she does and it shows in her work. Whether it’s making sure her bar patrons are safe on departure, or mixing up a PERFECT drink every time, she has you covered. Harper also took care of us and he really made us feel welcome and made a fantastic drink. A MUST GO when on bourbon street!!! 🔥🔥
Nice bar about the only one open if you go before the crowds hit. Bar tender was super nice sweet and friendly!!!
First time visiting NOLA and this was 1 of our first stops in the French Quarter. the young man who got our attention to stop on in to 718 Local was warm and welcoming and assured us we would be happy with the service and food as we were starving around lunch time. The music was everything thanks to Jarmira and the drinks made perfectly also by Jarmira who I have to say was a breath of fresh air she had such a beautiful energy and was warm welcoming and just a joyful spirit what a wonderful way to start our trip. Will definitely be our first stop on our next trip and I’d advise anyone else to make it theirs. Oh and get their garlic parm fries you won’t be disappointed 🥰
I randomly ended up this place on my birthday weekend because they had IPAs and it was definitely the vibe and atmosphere that I wanted. It wasn’t that packed that night, but it was exactly what I was looking for because of the bartenders and the Absolutely amazing customer service the first night from Shane you are amazing and the other two lady’s (McKenna and Faith) that took care of my me and my girl! Y’all interaction and personalization with us definitely made me feel special in a place that is very high traffic and especially on Bourbon Street. I had so much fun, I came back the next night and I was very pleased that they remembered me and wanted to keep that experience going! I will absolutely return again as I am somebody in the hospitality industry that appreciates the customer service that you don’t expect!
Amazing place and people .. we mentioned we were RAMS fans in New Orleans and they went out of there way to make us feel welcomed..
Bartenders here are way better trained than the location in Jefferson. Great food. Love the touchtunes jukebox.

First stop in New Orleans. Really enjoyed it! Name confuses you because it’s named the 718 dive bar but either way the steak/crab or whatever sandwich that was was awesome. Highly recommend!
My favorite bar on the bourbon street! The staff are super nice friendly great inviting atmosphere. Go see my girl Shane!!! She is the best tender on the strip!!!
