We had a nearby event with friends who were looking for an Asian fusion experience... not really our thing; so we searched for alternatives. Close to our meet up point, we found Las Margaritas... and judging by online info... they have good bar drinks for the wife! We arrived and actually parked right outside the door. We were seated quickly and our server was really nice. When she mentioned they had NOLA IPA craft beer, the night was made. We ordered the fajitas which were great and reasonable priced considering we were in the CBD. The atmosphere was nice... a little dark, but still had a strange hipster feel. We got some drinks to go and all was good.
I visited this place when I had a break of the conferences at the Hyatt and I love it. I ordered a Mexican burger and a beer and it was all that I need. The service was quick and easy.
Searched on Christmas Eve game day for a miracle.... and the miracle is this amazing gem kinda hidden out of the "game day" spotlight! Look hard and find the best authentic Mexican food with perfect Louisiana seasoning. I had the grilled chicken- whatever they use to season or marinate made my favorite Texas Mexican restaurant look amateur! Spoiled! Will be back! No line- when everyone else was waiting for over an hour to be sat.
Try the Chorizo Fondeaux and the Cheezie Bean Dip so very very tasty !

Great food! Nachos were delicious and the presentation was awesome. Servers are friendly and service is quick. Go for Happy Hour. You won't be disappointed.
The exterior is a plain, brick building, with a nice neon sign. The interior is well-decorated, with modern decor, and lots of televisions are visible. The floor is acid-washed concrete. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was good! I ordered the Tamal Mexicano, which came with one Tamale, one Chili Relleno, and one Flauta, over some sliced lettuce. The portions were suitable. RJT
Las Margaritas was a wonderful experience during the Saints game. Great food and drinks, wonderful server named Geri, nice place. Highly recommended!!

Great place to eat. Brought a group of 15 high schoolers with 4 adults. The staff was friendly and fun and the food was delicious.
