Shahrazad's has several things working in it's advantage to make this a nice neighborhood spot. They have affordable options on their menu. Their menu has some Mediterranean items as well as burgers, American sandwiches and sides.They are on the corner of Magazine & Bordeaux and are currently BYOB (with Le Bon Temps Roule across the street). Shahrazad's is dog friendly on their outdoor lounge patio as well as their additional sidewalk seating. The food is really good and from what the attentive waiter told me was that they are going to be starting free delivery soon. Neighborhood spot.

New place. I was greeted by all. Clean decor, kind of nice. I just tried a gyros to go. Comes with fries. Very tasty. The meat, romaine lettuce, tomatoes and onion with tzatziki sauce all go into the pocket of the pita. Real Good. The fries have some kind of pepper on them, made them very, very good.

I ordered the Magazine Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries were perfect, not too soft not too crunchy. Burger was a nice size. I had to remember to breathe. Chicken Shawarma was also great. Hummus was great. Would definitely recommend. Will be back.
