The food was good. I had the shrimp, fish, fries, and salad platter along with the oysters. As mentioned, it is not the friendliest and most welcoming as far as the cashier. Seems to be a local catered restaurant. It was not the best neighborhood, but it was safe inside, and the food was good. I wanted to experience a local spot. I liked it....
This place was delicious. We had a bit of a wait but the food was well worth it. The fry on the chicken and the fish was perfect. The inside was juicy and delicious and our food was packed with flavor. My boyfriend got the fish fry po-boy and I got the lemon pepper tender basket. The fries were even season well and came with a good aioli.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! The food is amazing! I’ve gone on 2 NOLA trips 1 year apart my first trip we tried out smileys just because it was close to where we were staying after that IT WAS A WRAP !!!! we was in there EVERY SINGLE DAY of our trip. Everything was on point ! When we came back for trip 2 we went back everyday as well, there’s a tall guy in the kitchen everytime we thought he was Smiley himself the way he was running that joint. Thank you for the delicious food guys !
Amazing good. Sausage poboy fully dressed was delicious. Hamburger and fries very good handmade taste. Grilled chicken strips had a great taste. The club sandwich was perfect. Drink prices seemed reasonable.
Me and my wife saw good reviews and had to stop in. We were not disappointed. Customer service was outstanding and the fresh seafood we had stood out from other restaurants. They have homemade sauce that goes good with everything. Come get some of Louisianas best kept secret.

Food was wonderful! Homemade croutons and their oysters were amazing. We ordered a seafood platter and was phenomenal!Five starts is not enough for this place. I probably looked a fool photoing my food but it was gorgeous! Will be back!
Great customer service, good was hot and fresh to order. Great prices with a clean environment. Well definitely be back when I come in town!!!
The food was exceptional! The service was a little unconventional, but great. And the atmosphere was fun and inviting.
