Michael White has two Moroni restaurants jn the city. One is on the Upper East Side and one in Soho. The one in Soho can get very noisy if the restaurant is full but it feels lively. I like to eat at the bar for the simple reason that a seat is always available and I can enjoy my pasta. House made pasta is delicious here! I am partial to the tortelli ravioli with mozarella and ricotta topped with pomodoro and the rigatoni with wild mushrooms is memorable.
Authentic, top shelf Italian. This is a very special restaurant for a nice event or an anniversary meal.
Totally authentic atmosphere and an impressive menu. We shared the Bistecca Di Morini, a great sized portion of dry aged New York strip steak. It truly was phenomenal. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of money here, but for special occasions it is worth it.
Great Vibe !. A relaxed and more casual atmosphere than typically associated with this type of cuisine, but it all worked wonderfully well. The Spaghetti alla Vongole was a little dry and needed more clams, but other than that, every other dish was excellent !
