Lovely little Bistro! While the Prix Fix menu is only available during the week, my person and I feasted on escargot, pate, and mussels for not all that much more.
The interior is casual and comfortable, and our server was just lovely.
This restaurant is not accessible, as it is below street level, and the ladies room is very, very narrow - typical of older Manhattan buildings.
We had a fantastic meal, and I'd love to come back sometime for a full dinner.
Loved this place. We stayed just off Times Square so this was just a short walk away. I think I read a review somewhere that you probably won’t go wrong with a French restaurant full of French folk. That’s why I chose this place and it was exactly that way - I think all the staff, owners and almost all the customers were French. Still the service was great and we didn’t feel out of place for a moment. Filet mignon was priced a little high but was done perfectly. The chicken was a bit of hit and miss affair - one piece was moist and juicy, the other was unfortunately really dry.
Great ambience. I really felt like if I was in France. The portions were large for a French restaurant. It felt like real homemade food. Lots of French customers that it’s always a good sign. Loved the experience.
