Came here on a chilly afternoon for and apple strudel and a hot chocolate. Beware of the line! It wasn’t bad but waiting in the cold kinda sucked. The doorman is SO friendly and great and managing folks. Once inside, the atmosphere is truly unique. Can’t say enough good things about the interiors. The staff was efficient and prompt in getting us seated and ordered. The food was honestly just fine, but worth the overall experience.
Yes you have to queue and yes it's worth it for the beautiful atmosphere and lovely food. There is an additional dining room downstairs that usually has tables open if you'd rather not wait. The Viennese coffee and cakes are lovely, we had the Kirschtorte and an espresso topped with whipped cream. We also had a nice salad and the smoked trout crepes. Perfect for lunch before or after one of the museums
It is always a plesure to come here. Food is delicious and entourage is very elegant and european. Today we wete a little disappointed. We came there and were checked in at 4:10pm. And then 40 min latet we were told that they are having an event and closing at 5pm
And we were rashed to order desert and to pay a bill while all the waitets were moving around and making room ready for an event. That was very uncomfotrable and unpleasant. I think they should not let people in 50 min before closing.
