Scandinavian flavors executed well. Service is always friendly & knowledgeable. Their soups are flavorful & complex, the gnocchi is lighter than air, the fish dishes are top notch, & the desserts are worthy of a visit alone. A wonderful neighborhood spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or brunch. Price point is best value in the area too when it comes to bang for (flavorful) buck.
Extremely friendly staff. We were seated quickly. Served promptly. The menu may be limited but everything is absolutely amazing! I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will visit again
100% great!. Terrific and romantic dinner for two! Perfect ambiance and decor. I was immediately impressed when the waiter brought the wine that I had ordered by the glass for me to taste first. We had grilled shrimp, gazpacho, pork loin, salmon, grilled asparagus and pizokel. All the dishes were delicious and flavorful. Highly recommended.
Great meal at the right price. Service is 100%. Went at quiet mid-morning times. Oatmeal excellent. Omelette huge, fluffy and very tasty. Scrambled eggs with rosti and brioches very good. Excellent value.
Great brunch! Reasonably priced given quantity and quality of food.
There is something in the air in NYC. And, no, for once I am not talking about the foul smell of the gas of the person walking in front of you. I am talking about Fall. Now, I have mixed feelings about this turning of the seasons. The cons are that it get
...the crispy duck necks were fantastic! And to our surprise, the rest of the dishes were up to par. We sat in their outdoor space, which was nice and breezy, even on the hottest day. The shaded area was cute and roomy. Though they had a weird policy
After years of hearing little other than praise for Trestle on Tenth -from the food, to the wine program, to the vibe-I finally made it there on a recent trip to New York. You know what? I was...
A nice atmosphere with an exceptional wine list. Fresh, healthy options, they have happy hour everyday, brunch on Sundays, and also a cheese fondue specials! Great options for the health conscious. They also offer a great selection of teas. I had the turkey sandwich with the curry mayo, Great flavors! Highly recommend.
Always great service from the staff and menu items that are both familiar and intruguing. We've been big fans from before moving to New York. It's a testament to their excellence that they've been around so long. We loved their patio in the summer.
Great breakfast selection. Close to Highline; just a block over. Nearby parking on w. 24th. Very comfortable seating with good ambient music.
I never expected much from bar food, but I ordered a pork shoulder on bar and it is well balanced, juicy and savory.
This place deserves a more serious review. I’ll try come back for more.
Great NY restaurant, cozy and well executed food. Loved the sweetbreads. Well done.
Had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon, with the place being almost full. Was seated quickly and the service efficient although at times not attentive. The food was excellent being well presented and fresh and tasty. The portions were the right size including the desserts. Would certainly return for brunch in what was an enjoyable experience.
After walking the high line in the cold wind in February, we were looking for a warm place, good food and a nice ambiance. We found Trestle on Tenth and went in.
We were not disappointed! The Food was excellent. My friends had the seared salmon which was cooked to perfection. I had the duck which tasted great. Our waiter was good explaining what's on special today and the service in all was perfect. We can just recommend Trestle.
Quality art work would be a positive addition at the walls.
A bit of walk from the train, but the place is very cute and cozy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they serve unlimited coffee, WIN! will definitely come back once the weather is warmer and we can sit in the garden.
Trestle on Tenth has its own charm; however, the hostess seemed more interested in laughing and joking with the coupled seated in the window area by the bar rather than attending to other patrons. Table service was quick and attentive, and the bartender was more than happy to accommodate my request to transfer my bar tab to my table. Wish I could have eaten in the courtyard area in back, but the poor weather kept that from being a viable option.
I ordered roasted cauliflower and brussels sprouts, which were both well executed. The farfalle was good but not overly memorable.
Fantastic patio and drink prices are not bad. A great break spot near the high line.
