I really enjoyed this little place. Our server was this nice girl from South Korea. The candle lit ambiance is great. The drinks were on point, can’t remember the name but the server would certainly know if you show the pic. It’s a perfect balance between sweet and sour. The spices used to season the fried chicken were great and I really liked the coffee mug with little hearts.
Stopped at Doma na Rohu yesterday after spotting the place the day before in a stroll by the area. From the outside it looks cozy and not too crowded - tables are not offensively close to each other.
They have a pan-eastern European menu with some German dishes centered on classics like sauerkraut and bratwurst.
The goulash (beef & pork stew) was very well seasoned and balanced, served with pieces of bread to dunk in the soup.
The bratwurst dinner and the smoked brisket were exceptionally tasty as well.
I would recommend this place for a quiet dinner in a non pretentious space.
Unusual place (Czech but with a mix of German and Polish food and drink) but worth the visit. We stopped in for just coffee and they were accommodating and friendly. The range of coffee and tea was impressive and the decor and atmosphere was warm and hospitable.
