Wonderful midtown gem that produces well thought out dishes presented in a beautiful manner. The seafood are primarily from the Mediterranean and tasted great. In addition, the sauces were very savory. The salmon dish was cooked just right and the flavor profile of the pumpkin veloute was exquisite. The seafood salad was beautifully arranged and very fresh. The lunch ended with the tiramisu that was out of this world. Service was very attentive and professional.
Flat out the best Italian restaurant we have been to so far in New York and on par with some of the best in Italy. Very refined modern Italian cuisine built on outstanding, fresh ingredients. We had the Crudo di mare and a spinach salad as antipasti, a risotto cooked to perfection with lobster (a daily special) and Tagliatelle sul pesce as primi. Wine is served by the glass only as far as we could see (no full wine menu). The chef and owner who has previously been the executive chef at Cipriani amongst other places has the rare talent to take simple, high quality ingredients and take them one step further and two notches higher than your average talented Italian chef, in a way putting a Japanese twist of sophistication to the dishes. Service was imbeccable - we visited on a slow Sunday evening, this may have helped (as other reviews found some critique here). The interior is very nice and modern, though nothing exceptional. Highly recommended restaurant for lovers of sophisticated Italian cuisine!

Very tasty Italian fare. A bit too elegant for this modest location, which is why they are opening a new location in the former DaSilvano spot on lower 6th Avenue. The apps were creative and tasty, the fish divine. A little slow on the service or lunch, but I gather than works well for dinner where one may have a bit more time. Looking forward to pasta next time I visit, neighbor’s selections looked great!
