I was struck with a brilliant idea. Didn't the folks behind fabulous speakeasy Raines Law Room just open up a new cocktail establishment with 3 rooms that capture 3 eras? We were in a cab heading over to Gramercy within 2 minutes. Luckily I knew the address, because while the door is not hidden, there is absolutely nothing indicating what the door at the top of the stairs leads to. To a passerby it looks like the entryway to a swank apartment building while those in the know confidently walk up to the entrance of Dear Irving .

Was #26 Best North American bar in 2022. Atmosphere 8/10 Very dark but classy Ambiente inside. A bit too dark for my taste. To the point that it’s difficult to take decent pictures. So def not very “instagrammable” spot if that’s what you look for. There is a cool extra room with a 1920’s theme in the back Drinks 7/10 To my surprise, the drinks on the menu didn’t look appealing. No vodka based drinks. But you can order a custom drink by describing your preference. Our cocktails were great. However - I wouldn’t know how to recommend or reorder Service 10/10 I love the concept that there is a service button, which you push when you need help. Otherwise, nobody will bother you Price 5/10 Drinks are ok-priced around ~$20-24

It's a charming cocktail bar with a delightful ambiance. I opted to sit at the bar, but there are also cozy tables available. The dimmed lighting creates a classy and dreamy atmosphere, reminiscent of the iconic scenes in Mad Men. While the cocktails are on the pricier side, averaging around $19, the premium price is justified by the exceptional ambiance. It's an ideal spot for romantic date nights, as the absence of loud music allows for intimate conversations without the need to raise your voice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm looking forward to visiting again in the future.
