I am really pleased with the food, atmosphere and experience at Bob's. I had a very poor experience with the hotel that this is located in. But due to that I received complimentary drinks for my girlfriend and I and complimentary breakfast.
I decided upon the steak and eggs, and my girlfriend the avocado toast. I received an excellent medium rare filet that was just a tad to salty by itself, but when combined with the crispy potatoes and eggs it turned into an awesome flavor explosion. The avocado toast was impressive. It was monstrous in size and the flavor didn't fail either. I'm glad we both had an excellent breakfast, and I'm sure their lunch and dinner is up to snuff as well.
The staff and the management didn't disappoint either. Our waiter was prompt and made sure we were satisfied with our meal. There was a misunderstanding between the hotel staff and the restaurant but the manager on the morning of the 25th was more than gracious to accommodate us. I lost his card but I was very pleased with how he treated us and wanted to make sure that the restaurant knows that he and the staff went above and beyond for our meal.
We also made it to the bar twice, and received a great cocktail from the bartender Sonny. I really appreciate how he treated us as customers and made sure we were satisfied with our drinks.
It's easy to write off hotel restaurants because many options out there are subpar for what you pay and get. This place really exceeded my expectations by not only serving excellent food, but also matching it with excellent service.
Can't say enough about this restaurant and it's staff. First, they really catered to us by delivering an ambiance of care throughout the entire night. The staff maintained continuous conversation in hopes of ensuring we were always pleased with our choices. Second, the food was well prepared and delicious. The salmon was prepared perfectly. The steak was prepared just to my liking and with distinction. The bread pudding sealed the deal. We will for sure be back. Thank you for a great experience!
As this is a Texas style eatery, it had the biggest carrot I have ever seen. It's a little on the sweet side as I believe it's marinated in apple sauce. This made it the best tasting carrot I've ever had. We had the lamb chops and ribeye. Both cooked medium. Both were delicous. The smashed potatoes were pretty good. Also had the creamed spinach which was very good compared to other steakhouses. This place will be revisited.
