Indie Food And Wine is a cozy little restaurant in an ideal location... so close to The Vivian Beaumont Theater �. What a wonderful find. Right in Lincoln Center. It’s very affordable. It has an interesting menu and I found the staff really friendly �
Perfect spot for my daughter, granddaughter, and I to share quick lunch before the Saturday Ballet. We enjoyed the good food, pleasant, patient staff, and sharing of common table with interesting strangers. We will include indie food and wine in our next trip.
I loved this cafe, and went twice during my short visit to NY. Highly recommend! It was quiet, cool and welcoming and the iced latte was delicious. It was a little hard to find the location from the street. The sign is really small, so I walked right by. Here's what the entrance looks like.
Went there few times with friends - marvelous place. Food is AMAZING, service is fantastic. I got Duck Confit, and Avocado salad. YUMM
Whatever establishment chooses to follow this one has some big nice shiny shoes to fill! The greatest staff, the most delicious chocolate chip cookies, and the food is better than everything within 3 blocks in all directions!!! So sad to see Indie close. I know it’s well-loved by everyone nearby, I wish some of the locals would have passed out flyers or something..!
Perfect place for a low key drink or quick meal before a show. Not a huge place, but a decent number of seats with very reasonable prices considering the location. Finally, although I only tried the desserts, from what I tasted, the food is quite good. Definitely will be coming here more often.
I went to this place once and definitely will come back again.
Their lemon juice and hot chocolate are really good 👍🏻
The stuff are so friendly and helpful. Although we came late but they were really of accommodating 😃

Whenever I go to Lincoln Center I grab a coffee or a bite here. Can be a tad pricey, but they let you sit for as long as you wish really, so if you are running early to a show or a flick this is a great healthy place to do a bit of work. And the lighting is fabulous.
I had the Bibb salad with chicken. Delicious. Only thing negative was the leaves were very large and had to cut them many times to have acceptable bite size portions. Not a major complaint but being completely honest. The service, taste, freshness, amount, price, quality - all excellent. I'd go again and recommend it.
Excellent casual place to grab a light dinner before or after Lincoln Center events. Food is fantastic, the service is quick and friendly, the wine and drinks list top notch and reasonably priced. Oh, and really great food. Did I say how much I liked the food? Check it out.
Very nice coffee shop that turns into a surprisingly delicious and affordable restaurant.
We ate a brunch here. The sandwich were very well-made. It was freshly cooked, so it felt totally different as other cold ready to eat ones. The problem was that sandwiches were too greasy so we felt very oily in our stomach. Probably that’s why they serve some olives with sandwiches. I had to put some hot sauce which was in a side bar. I like the fact they give free cold water in the side bar.
