I went to Stout after work with friends and it was such a chill bar! The drinks were good and the food was yummy! It wasn’t super loud and crowded which I usually hate about NYC bars. Great place I would definitely go again.
I have participated in their special events. St. Baldrics a great cause to raise funds for children with cancer. They are aware of the community. Even though it’s always busy they acknowledge you immediately. I can understand being busy but can’t stand not being acknowledged. They always say hello right away. I am not in that area often. When I am I know I am going to eat there. Really good comfort food. The Sheppard’s pie, Mac and cheese, sliders, nachos. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach when I go. I am not a huge beer fan but every time I go I try a new Irish whiskey. They have a ridiculous list. I have tried 10. None of the names of which I could repeat but have pictures of all of them. When I am down there it’s usually for business and I have lunch. It’s not as busy during lunch. Instead of being annoyed and not paying attention the staff will walk you through the beers and whiskey. The bartenders are especially knowledgeable. All in all. It’s nice to go somewhere you can’t count on the food and service being the same. There staff doesn’t really change much either so it’s nice to be remembered!
Great place to eat, simple and to the point place is lit. Thanks.
