I too have driven by this place and always said I wanted to stop in. So today I finally did. I consider malefactors foodie and am always looking for something different and good. I am writing this with the amazing garlic an Parmesan taste still lingering in my mouth. When they say they have excellent wings I can second it. Very little if any breading and crispy. The flavor was so good an had me licking the leftover flavor from my plate. Never had garlic parm wings like this before but so good. I need to go back and try the other wing flavors now. We also ordered the brisket sandwiches. The brisket was tender and good. I don't normally like cole slaw but I loved their homemade cole slaw.
The customer service was out of this world making you feel like family. Love it and will be a regular customer from now on.

Incredible!! A one of a kind dining experience tucked away on a side street off Shore Drive. The food is fresh, quality and made to order. A very clean, cozy, down home, comfortable place serving the best home-style comfort food I have had in the Hampton Roads area... Make that the state of Virginia since I moved to the area from NY!
We had the Bake-n-Eggs - two baked
eggs wrapped with hand cut bacon (what restaurant does that anymore??!), topped with cheese and served with the moistest, most delicious cornbread I have ever had in my entire life. Fact.
Oh and the wings. I'm from Buffalo and consider myself a wing specialist but My Mama's place creates some of the best fried or grilled wings. We had the Gangnam style (Korean bbq) and the Dad's Jerk wings are to lay down and die for. The sauces are created and creative - Mango habanero, General Tso, Thai, Ghost and several others I can't wait to try.
The owners are two personable brothers who cook their mama's recipes and provide some of the best customer service and conversation. When you are there ask them their story and sit back and enjoy the shrimp and grits or mama's baby back ribs with freshly made sweet potato pie or sweet potato cheesecups.
