I absolutely loved my meal. My friends and I had a wonderful culinary experience today at Community Pizza House. The pizza was outstanding, the wait staff was superb, and the decor is warm and inviting. If you want a taste of authentic Italian pizza from a wood burning oven, treat yourself to Community Pizza House

This is my #1 place to go for pizza. The wood fired oven turns every pizza to a special experience. I love the crust and to create my own special pizza. I highly recommend this place!
Service was amzing. We had half and half pizza, nicely cooked dough, perfect amount of sauce and topping! However, it was too salty to have more than one slice from each flavor even though we were starving. (usually my husband and I can eat whole 16” pizza with no problem). The manger told us they don’t put salts on the pizza so i have no idea where that extra salty came from. We’ve been trying to stay low sodium our daily meals so that can be a reason. (However we usually don’t have salts problem at any other pizza places lol) Will give it a shot again amd next time we will ask about salts before we order haha.
When we 1st arrived the decor was nice and the hostess was friendly and sat us down immediately. This was mine and my family's 1st time here so we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Our pizzas were cooked amazingly and came out hot. Toppings were fresh and dough was soft. Our waitress was very nice and explained whatever we asked. We cannot wait to go back to this great restaurant.
This place never disappoints. Great ambience, pizza and craft beer. The brussel sprouts are yummy. The quality of the ingredients is fresh, and they offer gluten-free cauliflower pizza. It's all so delicious. You can also add a salad before your pizza, which cuts the salad price in half (hint hint) This is a must try while in Charleston.
The food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance, it was all great! Since I've moved to the south, I've been convinced you cant find good pizza out here, but Community Pizza House was a pleasant surprise. Their pizza is decent, but their sides are all amazing. From the cheese dip bread things to the roasted wings, I was in love. They also have a great assortment of cocktails that go well with anything. The rooftop is great for any party or occasion, cant wait to go back.
Staff is ALWAYS nice to me. The look is so industrial and clean. Think Chipotle... but don't be worried about getting sick, the brussel sprouts are a go to appetizer. Make you own pizza menu, rooftop bar and the trivia nights are great. I'll be back.
On our first visit to the Pizza House we were greeted with a smile and service was great by Carly. The Pizza was good but the crust was a little tough/crusty for my preference. I do thank if we are in the area and looking for pizza we would give it another try. They, also, have a great selection of local breweries on tap.
Visited here on Easter Sunday. Not too busy. Waitress was very attentive and came to get our drink order in a timely manner.
Food was excellent.
We got the Italian sub and macaroni & cheese.
Absolutely delicious.
They don’t have your regular restaurant sodas but instead have delicious cane sugar soda varieties.
Restaurant and kitchen looked clean and tidy.
Definitely will visit here again when we come to visit our favorite city of Charleston.
This pizza joint is absolutely fantastic! Very quickly seated, waiter gave us just the right amount of attention, and the food was great. If you can’t tell from the picture, the pizza was made with some real quality ingredients. They have really great small batch soda. I’ll definitely be returning!
One of the best pizza pies that we've eaten. Classic and unique recipes with a natural fresh flavor. Salad was awesome, filling and enough to share. Try the Brussels sprouts, you won't be able to resist having another bite.
My only regret is that I didn't try this place sooner! Instead of Coke or Pepsi, they serve their own sodas made from cane sugar. The creme soda was outstanding. We had the Southern BKT pizza. Pimento cheese, bacon, kale, and green tomatoes! Wow! The crust was thin and crispy yet chewy. It had amazing char from the wood fire. Easily one of the best pizzas I've ever had.
